The first Armenian three-dimensional virtual domain www.digitaljulfa.com on the metaverse was launched, and the first virtual center is set to open in Dubai on 23 June 2025.

NEW YORK, March 20, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Digital Julfa, a premier metaverse platform designed to reignite Armenia’s historic role in global trade and commerce, is both a history-revealing and shopping/trade source. It connects Armenian businesses in various industries and family businesses worldwide, offering unique opportunities for brand recognition, wealth building, and advocacy.

Commenting on the launch of the platform, the initiating partner, CEO and Founder of Orion Worldwide Innovation and Covenant Venture Capital Venture Partner, Emma Arakelyan, mentioned, “Digital Julfa is a unique opportunity connecting businesses and individuals—those who are looking to showcase their products and those who are looking to gain access to a network of Armenian businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs. By becoming a part of the network, you are joining to revive the powerful history of the Armenian trade leader role for 300+ years and accelerate the path of your business, family office, and personal prosperity.”

“New Julfans were primarily known for their role as silk merchants. They monopolized the silk trade for much of the early modern period, but they also dabbled in other things: gems, diamonds, and so forth, but also textiles, and they had an extensive commercial network that went from London, Amsterdam, and Cadiz, all the way to Manila,” stated Houri Berberian, Professor of History & Meghrouni Family Presidential Chair in Armenian Studies, University of California, Irvine.

With technology partners Fastexverse and Evolver, Digital Julfa is set to launch its first center in Dubai in June 2025, with subsequent centers in Italy, the Philippines, the Netherlands, Singapore, India, and France.

By consolidating the Armenian Think Tank, the network aims to strengthen global business presence and preserve socio-economic stability. Through the creation of an international partner network to defend the interests of Armenia and Armenians worldwide, Digital Julfa establishes new points of growth in the development of the national economy.

About the Network: Digital Julfa Network was announced as a program at the Orion Summit in Yerevan at Matenadaran, the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, on June 22, 2022. This program aims to establish a network of the Armenian Nation, fostering an influential infrastructure to protect national interests, promote business, social, and humanitarian impact on the global stage. For more information please visit www.digitaljulfa.com

The program is supported by Armenian businesses, think tanks in multiple disciplines, professional organizations and Armenian government officials.

HelloNation Article Highlights Downsizing Strategies From Real Estate Experts Holly Abel Grimm and Rich Grimm

The article explains how long-time homeowners and seniors can prepare emotionally and financially for a successful move.

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio, Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — When is the right time for long-time homeowners or seniors to consider downsizing? A HelloNation article offers a clear, thoughtful guide to when and how to make this critical life transition.

In the feature, New Philadelphia-based real estate professionals Holly Abel Grimm and Rich Grimm, of Holly & Rich Grimm at REMAX Crossroads, offer practical advice to help seniors sell their homes or prepare to downsize. The article highlights the emotional and logistical challenges that often accompany selling a family home and outlines how homeowners can approach the process with confidence and clarity.

For many longtime homeowners, downsizing isn’t just about reducing space. It’s about finding a living arrangement that better matches current needs. The HelloNation article reframes downsizing as rightsizing, a mindset shift that helps lessen the emotional weight of the decision. This approach encourages homeowners to focus less on what they’re leaving behind and more on how they want to live going forward.

The article explains that preparing for downsizing is most effective when started early and approached gradually. Holly Abel Grimm and Rich Grimm emphasize that signs often emerge over time—whether in unused rooms, maintenance issues, or daily tasks that become more tiring. Recognizing these signs can prompt meaningful conversations and reduce the chance of rushed decisions later.

Seniors selling a home often face the added challenge of emotional attachment. Memories and family history tied to a house can make moving overwhelming. The HelloNation feature suggests breaking the process into small steps, starting with organizing storage areas and sorting personal items in manageable sessions. This helps long-time homeowners see progress without feeling burdened.

One key recommendation from the article is to engage in open conversations with family members early in the process. Discussing plans, financial concerns, and future goals helps align expectations and avoid misunderstandings. For seniors selling a home, these discussions also help ensure their wishes remain central to the plan, rather than being shaped by outside pressure.

From a practical standpoint, preparing a property for sale begins long before a home is listed. According to the article, addressing basic maintenance, minor repairs, and cosmetic updates can significantly improve the home’s market performance. This not only improves the sales experience but also allows homeowners to move at a pace that feels right for them.

Working with experienced real estate agents, such as Holly Abel Grimm and Rich Grimm, can provide clarity throughout this process. With a strong understanding of New Philadelphia’s local market, these professionals help clients navigate every stage, from determining the right time to move to assessing financial readiness. Their insight supports thoughtful decision-making and reduces uncertainty for those preparing to downsize.

Financial planning is another significant component of rightsizing. As the HelloNation article notes, seniors selling a home benefit from understanding how the sale will affect their overall financial situation. This includes considerations around retirement income, future housing costs, and long-term care. Having a strategy in place creates a smoother path toward a new chapter in life.

Ultimately, the article’s message is clear: downsizing a home should never be a rushed or reactive decision. By starting early and focusing on emotional, physical, and financial readiness, long-time homeowners can view the process as a step toward greater comfort and security.

Downsizing or Rightsizing Your Home: A Practical Guide for Long-Time Homeowners and Seniors features insights from Holly Abel Grimm and Rich Grimm, real estate experts at Holly & Rich Grimm at REMAX Crossroads in New Philadelphia, OH, in HelloNation.

The release features a new RAW processing engine, improved NoNoise AI noise reduction, enhanced masking, and an AI Culling Assistant, along with performance and stability improvements across the application. Download a free trial.

Photo RAW 2027 gives photographers better-looking images straight from the camera so less time is spent on corrections.

“Photographers told us exactly where Photo RAW needed to be better, and we treated that as the plan for the year,” said Dan Harlacher, VP of Product at ON1. “We wanted a photo to look right straight from the camera and edits to behave the way you expect. Photo RAW 2027 is where that work shows up.”

A New RAW Processing Engine

It was also the top overall performer in blind testing of automatic adjustments against other top RAW processors.

Key Features

NoNoise AI: AI noise reduction removes more noise while preserving detail, with new models for wildlife, portraits, astrophotography, and scanned film. Tack Sharp AI recovers soft or slightly out-of-focus images.Enhanced Masking: Masks apply consistently across layers, Effects filters, and local adjustments, with an instant preview on hover.AI Culling Assistant (Photo RAW MAX only): AI photo culling groups similar photos and flags closed eyes and out-of-focus subjects, and processes large batches. The photographer makes the final call.Perfect Eraser: Improved algorithms removes distractions over larger areas with more realistic detail, in every edition, without AI.Faster Performance: Reworked previews, caching, startup, and shutdown. AI tools run up to 10x faster, with larger gains on Windows and modern GPUs.

Photo RAW 2027 also adds a Loupe pane, an improved Compare view, Folder Actions, and support for five new cameras and the latest lens profiles.

“With this RAW engine, ON1 competes with the best, and in some cases is better,” said Patrick Smith, Senior Vice President at ON1. “The ON1 team has been busy. We shipped 10 free updates to Photo RAW 2026 on the way here, and we will keep improving our products at this pace going forward.”

RECO’s New Annual Financial Filing Program Sees Ontario Brokerages Achieve 94.4% On-Time Compliance Rate

Collaborative approach strengthens brokerage accountability, financial oversight and consumer protection across Ontario’s real estate sector

TORONTO, Nov. 2, 2026 /CNW/ — The Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) reports that 94.4% of Ontario real estate brokerages submitted their initial Annual Financial Filing on time, marking a strong first-year result for the new regulatory program.

The Annual Financial Filing initiative is a key component of RECO’s regulatory modernization efforts, providing greater insight into brokerage financial health, strengthening trust account oversight, and supporting consumer protection across Ontario’s real estate sector.

“Achieving 94.4% on-time compliance for initial filings is a significant result and reflects the commitment of Ontario’s real estate brokerages to meet their regulatory obligations,” said Jean Lépine, Interim Chief Executive Officer of RECO. “We are building a more modern, proactive, and accountable regulator. Timely financial reporting helps RECO identify potential risks earlier, strengthen trust account oversight, and better protect consumers. We appreciate the sector’s response and the collaboration that helped make this first phase of the program a success.”

A collaborative approach to stronger compliance

The strong compliance rate achieved in the program’s inaugural year demonstrates how distinct sector organizations play complementary roles in the shared responsibility of enhancing industry professionalism.

RECO recognizes the important role played by the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) and local real estate boards in raising awareness of the new mandatory requirement and encouraging timely submissions. RECO will continue to work with sector association and real estate board leaders to promote compliance, provide clear guidance, and support a strong culture of professional accountability across the sector.

“This result is indicative of what can be accomplished when the regulator and industry work together toward a shared objective,” Lépine added. “We thank OREA and local boards for their leadership and support, and the brokerages that filed their first submission on time.”

RECO is following up with brokerages that missed the filing deadline and will take appropriate compliance and enforcement action where necessary, including a late fee and potential referral to the Discipline Committee. Persistent non-compliance may result in suspension and eventual registration revocation.

Advancing RECO’s regulatory transformation

The Annual Financial Filing program strengthens RECO’s ability to identify emerging risks, target regulatory resources more effectively, and promote accountability across the sector. By providing a clearer picture of brokerage financial health, the program supports a more proactive, risk-based approach to regulation. RECO will continue to analyze the data received through Annual Financial Filing and assess the program’s ongoing effectiveness to identify any improvements needed to support future filings.

About RECO

The Real Estate Council of Ontario regulates real estate professionals and brokerages in Ontario under the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2002. RECO’s mandate is to protect the public interest through effective regulation of the province’s real estate sector.
