Britannica Brings a Wealth of Knowledge to the Libraries of Kenya

Company’s flagship platform available to the nation’s library patrons

CHICAGO, April 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — The people of Kenya now have access to Britannica Library, Encyclopedia Britannica’s flagship online knowledge collection, through the good offices of the Kenya National Library Service (KNLS).

Under an agreement between Britannica and KNLS, the country’s 46 regional libraries, as well as the national library itself, now host the Britannica Library platform, making it available to all library users. Readers can use the collection in the library or access it remotely.

Britannica Library is a dynamic, continuously updated and expanded, rigorously fact-checked information source for students, teachers and lifelong learners. Whether one needs historical context on the latest world crisis, an engaging biography of someone in the news, or they just want to test their knowledge of world capitals, Britannica is the ideal place to do it.
