Comments from Torbjörn Kronander, President and CEO of Sectra AB

“Digitization, AI and increasing security requirements are drivers that are fundamentally changing how both we and our customers work. For us, this is about embracing change and converting new technologies into customer value. With a corporate culture that encourages innovation and ideas, and puts them into practice, we are continuing to strengthen Sectra’s position in medical IT and cybersecurity—areas where our solutions make a difference in people’s lives, health and safety all over the world.

“The Group’s net sales exceeded SEK 1 billion for the first time in a single quarter. This positive performance was made possible as a result of satisfied and loyal customers. All of our operating areas are growing and reporting increased operating profit, despite the negative impact of currency effects and delays in product deliveries in Secure Communications.

“Our ongoing transformation of the business model from software sales to service deliveries helped to increase the total share of recurring revenue by 5 percentage points to close to 70% during the fiscal year. This also led to a more even performance between quarters compared with our past seasonal trends, which is clear from our earnings outcomes for the last three quarters.

“AI is an enormous wave rolling in and no one knows exactly how it will affect the future. We are choosing to ride this wave and course-correct as we go, rather than paddling behind and struggling to catch up.

“At a time when politics, technology and business risks are becoming increasingly interconnected, our ability to combine innovation with high security and long-term trust is growing in importance. We will continue capitalizing on this and other strengths to make the world a healthier and safer place. Our stable financial position gives us the ability to continue investing in innovation and capacity for the future. Together with our customers, we are shaping and driving developments forward, which means that our speed is a crucial strength. The trust we receive from our customers is not something we take for granted. We must continue to earn it and build on it every day.”

Raytron Delivers Infrared Solutions for Environmental Monitoring on World Environment Day 2026

Published

on

By

YANTAI, China, June 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The most damaging environmental threats are often the ones no one can see. A smoldering fire in a remote forest. A methane leak drifting silently into the atmosphere. An overheating transformer bleeding energy around the clock. On World Environment Day, themed “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future”, Raytron, a leader in infrared thermal imaging, upholds its commitment to create incremental value for customers with technological advancements. Through advanced infrared sensing technologies, it helps firefighters, regulatory authorities and industries detect invisible risks earlier and act before they escalate.

Detecting Wildfires at the Earliest Stage

Infrared thermal imaging sees heat rather than light, cutting through smoke where conventional cameras fail. Deployed at high-vantage sites across forested terrain, Raytron’s security thermal cameras provide round-the-clock wildfire surveillance. A proprietary fire and smoke detection algorithm identifies heat sources from as few as 1.5 pixels; with a maximum 225mm lens, the system detects anomalies up to 12 kilometers away and instantly triggers geo-tagged alerts. Catching a fire in its first minutes can be the difference between a contained incident and a weeks-long blaze, protecting forests that serve as irreplaceable carbon sinks.

Visualizing Gas Leaks That Are Invisible to the Human Eye

Methane is 80 times more potent than CO₂ over a 20-year period, yet it is colorless and odorless. Raytron’s Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) cameras detect greenhouse gases (GHG) including methane, VOCs, and other hazardous gases with a competitive sensitivity, rendering invisible plumes as vivid, coloring visualizations through a proprietary gas cloud algorithm. Deployed continuously across oil, gas, and petrochemical facilities, the infrared tech turns one of climate’s most underreported problems into something operators can see and fix.

Cutting Hidden Energy Loss with IR Thermal Imaging

In power grids, industrial plants and building inspections, thermal imaging pinpoints overheating equipment and insulation failures before they cause outages or waste energy. Predictive maintenance enabled by infrared inspection also reduces unplanned downtime, equipment damage, and the associated carbon footprint of emergency repairs and replacements, supporting a transition toward greener, more efficient industrial operations.

As climate commitments intensify globally, the ability to sense and respond to invisible risks is no longer optional. Raytron will continue partnering with organizations worldwide to make environmental accountability not just a goal, but a capability.

Created by artist and director LeiKiè, PAPmusic continues its international evolution through animation, pop culture and visual storytelling

MILAN, June 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On June 5, artist and director LeiKiè launches “BREAKING PAPnews,” the new dance-pop single expanding the cross-media PAPmusic – Animation for Fashion universe.

Watch the official “BREAKING PAPnews” music video and enter the expanding PAPworld

Originally conceived as an unconventional animated film blending fashion, music, design, pop culture, and Italian artistic heritage, PAPmusic – Animation for Fashion has gradually evolved into an independent Italian entertainment project with a distinctive visual identity and narrative style.

Set between Milan, Rome, Venice, and Pompeii, the feature has built a colorful and surreal visual universe combining romantic comedy, music, fashion culture, and pop humor into a highly recognizable formula.

After receiving more than 50 international recognitions including awards and official selections, a long-running PAPtour across Italian cinemas, and the growth of an increasingly active community, PAPmusic now continues its evolution by officially opening the doors to the “PAPworld,” a creative ecosystem where cinema, music, animation, lifestyle, fashion, and pop culture merge together.

And this is exactly where “BREAKING PAPnews” enters the scene. ‘BREAKING PAPnews’ is not just a song. It’s the first signal coming from a much bigger universe that is still waiting to be discovered.”
— LeiKiè

LeiKiè’s new track is not presented as a simple song, but as the first signal of a broader cross-media universe.

Built on a high-energy electronic dance-pop aesthetic, the single mixes television language, social media culture and cartoon-inspired imagery into a deliberately ironic, hypnotic and instantly recognizable sonic and visual experience.

Throughout the video, LeiKiè continuously transforms through different pop identities and recurring looks that have progressively become part of the PAPworld imagery.

Most importantly, “BREAKING PAPnews” finally reveals the mystery that has intrigued the Italian audience for months.

The mysterious “PAPnews” announced on social media was not actually referring to the release of PAPmusic 2, as many fans had imagined, but to something called PAPgame.

It is this mysterious new project, PAPgame, that continues to build curiosity around the expanding PAPworld experience. While some of its imagery may evoke elements of a social or card-based game, the exact nature of the project intentionally remains undisclosed for now.

About LeiKiè
Creator LeiKiè — a transformative artist, director and singer-songwriter who has made transmedia creativity and pop identity her distinctive signature — continues to build an autonomous and recognizable narrative universe where music, animation, fashion and surreal pop aesthetics constantly interact with one another.
