Skanska to build datacenter near Prague, Czechia, for CZK 2.1 billion, about SEK 930M

STOCKHOLM, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Skanska has signed a contract with CRA Prague Gateway DC to build a new data center on the outskirts of Prague, Czechia. The contract is worth CZK 2.1 billion, about SEK 930M, which will be included in the order bookings for Europe for the third quarter of 2026.

Works will include complete construction and non-IT technologies. The initial phase will cover site infrastructure, foundation structures and the load-bearing precast concrete skeleton of the building.

Work will start in August 2026, with completion scheduled for 2028.
