New Adam & Eve Survey Reveals How Americans Prefer To Masturbate

National Orgasm Day poll finds hands remain the favorite, while many adults turn to sex toys, erotic media and fantasy for solo pleasure.

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C., July 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — In honor of National Orgasm Day (July 31) and as part of its overall commitment to sexual health and wellness, Adam & Eve surveyed more than 2,000 American adults to learn how they prefer to masturbate. The results show that while manual stimulation remains the most common choice, many adults are embracing a variety of methods – including sex toys, erotic media and fantasy – as part of their solo sexual wellness routines.

More than half of respondents (54%) said they typically use their hands when masturbating, while 15.5% reported using sex toys, 10.5% said they rely on erotic media, and 5.3% said they use fantasy or imagination alone.

Among respondents who use sex toys, nearly 35% said they experience more intense orgasms during solo play than they do with a partner, highlighting the role that self-exploration can play in sexual satisfaction.

“There isn’t one ‘right’ way to masturbate,” says Dr. Jenni Skyler, PhD, LMFT, C-PST, and Adam & Eve’s resident sex therapist. “For some people, their hands provide everything they need. Others enjoy the additional stimulation of a vibrator or stimulator, or the use of erotic content. The important takeaway is that masturbation is a healthy form of self-care, and people shouldn’t feel embarrassed or ashamed about it.”

The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third-party survey company, of over 2,000 American adults ages 18 and up, was commissioned by Adam & Eve as part of its ongoing research into sexual wellness and behavior.

WebFX Study Analyzes Nearly 600,000 AI Sessions, Finds 92% of Traffic Lands on Consideration and Decision-Stage Content

An analysis of nearly 600,000 AI sessions found that AI search is driving users deeper into the buying journey, with more than 90% of AI traffic landing on consideration and decision-stage content.

HARRISBURG, Pa., July 27, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — WebFX, a full-service digital marketing agency, released a study of nearly 600,000 AI sessions across 2,500 web pages that challenges a common assumption about AI search. Rather than sending curious researchers to early-stage educational content, AI assistants overwhelmingly direct people to pages built for evaluation and purchase.

“For years, marketers have focused on attracting visitors at the top of the funnel,” said Emily Carter, Senior Content Team Lead at WebFX. “Our research suggests AI search is changing where journeys begin, making decision-stage content more important than ever.”

The research spans businesses in more than 15 industries and suggests AI is compressing the buying journey, with users arriving on a business’s site much closer to a decision than many marketers expect.

Key Findings

AI traffic skews bottom of funnel: More than 9 in 10 AI sessions (92%) landed on consideration or decision-stage content, while awareness-stage pages drew just 2.3%.Decision-stage content leads on its own: Pages built to help users choose a provider or solution accounted for 55.3% of all AI traffic.Commercial intent dominates: Nearly 7 in 10 sessions (68.9%) landed on transactional pages, compared with 18% for purely informational pages. The research process is shrinking: Instead of visiting several sites to compare options, users increasingly ask AI to weigh trade-offs first, then visit a business’s site to confirm their choice. The visits are worth more: A separate WebFX study found AI traffic converts 1.2 times higher than traditional organic search, reinforcing that these visitors arrive ready to act.

Longsys to Unveil “Edge AI Storage Fusion” at FMS 2026, Showcasing In-Depth Innovation in Edge AI Storage

Published

on

By

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — FMS 2026 kicks off in California, USA, August 4–6, 2026. Longsys(301308.SZ) will attend under the theme “Edge AI Storage Fusion,” showcasing its deep innovation in edge AI storage.

Comprehensive Innovation for Edge AI, Powered by Storage Fusion

Longsys will focus on three core edge AI scenarios, presenting integrated hardware-software solutions built around a redesigned storage architecture that bridges edge AI computing and storage.

The theme “Edge AI Storage Fusion” carries two layers of meaning. Technological fusion: integrating chips, storage, memory, and intelligent scheduling algorithms to break down traditional storage-memory barriers and achieve true storage-compute synergy. Value fusion: redefining storage’s role — from a passive data medium to a computing support hub and resource scheduling core for edge AI — aggregating hardware performance, software efficiency, and ecosystem adaptability to enable lower-cost, higher-performance, more scalable edge AI deployment.

This philosophy underpins Longsys’s efficient, deployable, and scalable solutions for terminal AI, helping the industry move from technical exploration to commercial scale.

At FMS 2026, Longsys will showcase integrated storage solutions across three mainstream scenarios: AI Box intelligent hosts, AI PC terminals, and AI Mobile embedded devices — addressing common industry pain points such as insufficient compute adaptation, resource scheduling imbalances, high retrofit costs, and stability issues. Leveraging proprietary technology and supply chain synergy, Longsys delivers multidimensional upgrades in performance, efficiency, and cost across diverse terminal scenarios.

Full-Stack Customization via the Storage Foundry Model

Chief Scientist Dr. Chen Jian will present “Intelligence at the Edge: Powered by the Storage Foundry Model,” detailing the innovation logic behind this approach.

The Storage Foundry model moves beyond isolated hardware upgrades, spanning the full value chain — chip design, hardware, firmware, packaging, industrial design, packaging & testing, materials, and manufacturing. Deep cross-functional collaboration enables full-stack, efficient customization from design through delivery, representing an innovative business model that Longsys has deeply invested in.

At FMS 2026, Longsys will share its vision for edge AI storage with global partners. Industry peers are invited to join Longsys in California, August 4–6, to explore new opportunities at the intersection of edge AI and storage.
