From Data to Doorsteps: How Kim Lundgren Associates Is Helping Local Governments Make Climate Action Personal

“All Access with Andy Garcia” segment explores how the impacts of climate change are local and so are the solutions

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Kim Lundgren Associates, Inc. (KLA), an award-winning, mission-driven climate consultancy, is featured in an upcoming segment of “All Access with Andy Garcia” focused on the critical role of cities, towns and counties in leading meaningful climate action.

The “All Access” segment highlights how accessible data and clear storytelling can help communities connect climate action to the issues residents experience every day – and to solutions like heat pumps, electric vehicles and solar power. Rather than relying on hundreds of pages of technical data or plans that sit on shelves, municipalities can use digital tools to show where progress is happening, what can still be done together and how individual and collective action contributes to larger community goals. “Local governments have a unique role in leading climate action, because they understand the people, infrastructure and priorities that define their communities,” said Kim Lundgren, chief executive officer of Kim Lundgren Associates. “They have an incredible opportunity to lead by example, make solutions feel achievable and give residents a meaningful role in protecting the people and places they love.”

KLA helps match community members to the climate solution that’s right for them. They bridge the gap between policy and action by providing practical solutions, including helping local governments identify priorities, measure progress, communicate transparently and create opportunities for residents, businesses and community organizations to participate in solutions. KLA’s Community Dashboard translates complex climate and sustainability data into clear, public-facing information. The platform helps municipal staff manage and communicate progress while connecting residents with actions they can take at home, at work and throughout their communities.

These tools are especially valuable for local governments facing staff and capacity limitations.. Many local government departments operate with lean teams that lack specialized expertise and tools, making it difficult to analyze complex data sets while managing daily operations. Without a clear implementation framework, even ambitious plans can struggle to gain momentum.

Furthermore, municipalities require transparent metrics that illustrate progress without overwhelming the public with confusing technical jargon. Tapping the power of action-oriented storytelling, local leaders build trust and help residents understand the direct connection between municipal policy and their community’s strength and resilience.

“People are more likely to act when they can see how climate solutions improve their own community,” continued Lundgren. “Whether that means lowering energy costs, creating healthier homes, preparing for extreme heat or protecting local resources, climate action becomes more powerful when people understand what is possible and see themselves as part of the solution.”

About “All Access hosted by Andy Garcia”: “All Access hosted by Andy Garcia” is an award-winning educational series distributed to Public Television stations throughout the United States. By

WUHAN, China, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Camel Group Co., Ltd. (Shanghai Stock Exchange: 601311.SH) announced that its 12V sodium-ion battery business has been selected for a pre-development project with a major European automotive manufacturer, bringing the company’s sodium-ion battery technology into the OEM’s technology development and validation process for next-generation low-voltage applications.

The project builds on Camel Group’s engineering development of cylindrical sodium-ion battery samples and its small-batch production capabilities for sodium-ion battery products. It follows the adoption of Camel Group’s 12V lithium-ion batteries by major European automakers and represents another step in the company’s overseas R&D collaboration in next-generation low-voltage battery technology.

Sodium-ion batteries are attracting increasing attention in automotive applications as manufacturers explore alternative technologies for evolving vehicle electrical architectures. Their resource availability, low-temperature performance and cycle-life potential make sodium-ion technology a potential option for automotive low-voltage battery systems, particularly amid evolving battery regulations and decarbonization requirements.

Camel Group has more than four decades of experience in low-voltage batteries, with a product portfolio spanning conventional lead-acid, EFB, AGM, 12V lithium-ion and 12V sodium-ion batteries. In sodium-ion technology, the company has completed the engineering development of cylindrical battery samples and established small-batch production capabilities.

Camel Group is also the lead proposing organization for the international standard proposal 12 V Sodium-ion Batteries for Automotive Start-Stop Applications. The proposal was unanimously approved by IEC/TC21 and has formally entered the international standardization process.

The European OEM project provides an opportunity for further validation of Camel Group’s sodium-ion battery technology and product adaptability under European automotive requirements.

Camel Group will continue to advance sodium-ion battery technology and deepen collaborative R&D with automotive manufacturers in China and overseas markets, developing low-voltage battery solutions focused on safety, adaptability and stable performance under diverse operating conditions.

By

BEIJING, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — At the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC 2026), Galileo, a leading Chinese embodied-intelligence robotics company, unveiled the groundbreaking, next-generation Galileo X, its new “Embodied Ground Mobility System”. The launch marks a major breakthrough in product form and technology, redefining the paradigm for next-generation ground robots.

Galileo X is a next-generation general-purpose ground mobility platform designed for diverse future operational needs. Its disruptive capabilities are powered by Galileo’s proprietary Unified Embodied Ground Mobility System.

Built on an integrated hardware architecture and unified control framework, the system bridges the previously fragmented hardware architectures, kinematic models and control algorithms of wheeled, vehicle-based and legged platforms. It enables end-to-end coordination across mechanics, actuation, perception and control, creating highly differentiated technological advantages.

Powered by such advanced core technologies, Galileo X breaks the conventional boundaries between AGVs, off-road vehicles and quadruped robots. It combines the high-precision indoor transport of wheeled AGVs, vehicle-level long-range off-road mobility, and the complex-terrain traversal capabilities of legged robots—all highly integrated within a single platform.

Galileo X has significant deployment advantages in a diverse range of high-value scenarios, including heavy-duty off-road handling, warehouse logistics and directional transfer, mobile chassis for humanoid robots, inspection, perception, and mobile operation platforms.
