The Rockefeller Foundation and TPC Announce Strategic Collaboration to Advance New Models of Impact Across Asia

Published

on

SINGAPORE, Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Rockefeller Foundation and TPC (Tsao Pao Chee), together with NO.17 Foundation, today announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore a strategic collaboration to address interconnected challenges across land, food, health and energy in Asia.

Announced during At ONE IMPACT Week 2026 in Singapore, the collaboration brings together these organizations with a shared commitment to exploring new ways of working across philanthropy, enterprise and capital to address complex challenges and create lasting impact across the region, grounded in the belief that love can be built into the infrastructure through which we create value and enable communities to thrive.

Across Asia, economic growth, climate change, food systems, health and energy are increasingly interconnected. Addressing these challenges requires approaches that can bring together different forms of expertise, capital and action, and connect solutions on the ground with the systems and markets needed to take them to scale.

“The greatest challenge in addressing interconnected issues like climate, food, and health is not a shortage of promising solutions. It is creating the conditions for those solutions to scale. Philanthropy can play a unique role in making that happen by supporting the alignment of capital, expertise, and institutions around a shared vision for impact. Our collaboration with TPC and NO.17 is an effort to bring this to life – where philanthropy takes early risks, business helps drive scale, and government creates the enabling environment for lasting change. Together, we are building a platform that can accelerate progress across sectors and expand opportunity in Asia when we work collectively.” said Elizabeth Yee, Executive Vice President of Programs, The Rockefeller Foundation.

The collaboration reflects a shared intention to work across traditional boundaries, bringing together philanthropy and business, global and local institutions, and early-stage innovation and long-term scale, while recognizing that different challenges and opportunities require different approaches.

“Philanthropic capital has been generous and well-intended, and it is not a lack of conviction or capability. It is just that the capital that arrives does not stick or scale. We need to redirect capital to systems. Land, food, health and energy are interconnected. The question we need to ask ourselves is whether philanthropy, enterprise and investment can show up in the same place, at the same time, and stay long enough for impact to ground and sustain. We do not have all the answers, but we can co-create the possibilities together. This is what we are partnering with The Rockefeller Foundation,” said Sook Yee Tai, Chair, NO.17 Foundation.

The partnership will focus on exploring opportunities across land, food, health and energy, drawing on the organizations’ respective experience, networks and capabilities. It will also seek to engage a broader ecosystem of partners, including governments, businesses, investors, philanthropies, technical organizations and communities, where collaboration can help advance shared goals.

The Rockefeller Foundation and TPC / NO.17 Foundation will continue working together to identify opportunities for collaboration and develop the relationships, evidence and approaches needed to translate shared ambition into practical action.

Accelevate Solutions and Brand Engagement Network Launch AI-Powered Passenger Engagement Platform for LAX Off-Airport Shuttle Providers

Published

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Accelevate Solutions and Brand Engagement Network, Inc. (“BEN”) (Nasdaq: BNAI) today announced the launch of a live AI-powered passenger engagement platform for off-airport parking and shuttle services at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The platform introduces a real-time media and engagement layer that connects riders, operators, and brands.

Passengers can view routes, live vehicle locations, and estimated arrival times directly in the mobile experience. The BEN AI engagement layer is now live, with promotional and static advertising available immediately. Live paid advertising is expected to begin in Q4 2026.

The platform combines Accelevate Solutions’ MobilityConnect™ fleet and audience-intelligence capabilities with BEN’s AI engagement technology, delivered through the Mydas enterprise media platform. Connected-vehicle data, including data from Xirgo Technologies, powers the vehicle layer. Together, the solution enables transportation and transit operators to convert existing connected assets into a real-time engagement channel and, once advertising inventory is sold, a new revenue stream.

LIVE VEHICLE INTELLIGENCE • PASSENGER ENGAGEMENT • CONTEXTUAL MEDIA • MEASURABLE DELIVERY

For passengers, the experience delivers route visibility, real-time vehicle context, and AI-enabled engagement through a mobile client – no app download required and no added friction. Riders stay informed and engaged throughout their journey.

For operators, MobilityConnect adds a digital engagement layer to existing transportation services without replacing core fleet systems.

For brands, it creates a measurable channel grounded in real-world mobility context rather than disconnected digital impressions, helping deepen passenger engagement while supporting brand trust, loyalty, and repeat business.

Management Commentary
“We believe this is a transformational moment for transit operators,” said James Maury, President and Co-Founder of Accelevate Solutions. “With AI-powered rider and location intelligence, operators can turn assets already in motion into real-time engagement and media channels – improving the passenger experience while opening new revenue opportunities. Combining our fleet and rider intelligence, real-time mobile engagement client, and our partner’s automated cloud media stack will enable rapid adoption through Q1 2027.

MobilityConnect gives passengers live vehicle locations and estimated arrival times while providing operators with a new engagement channel on assets already in service. Paid campaigns are not yet live; the media layer is currently enabled with static loyalty promotions, and new advertising inventory can be sold from this point forward.”

“Our partnership with Accelevate reflects our continued execution to scale our joint AI capabilities,” said Tyler Luck, Chief Executive Officer of Brand Engagement Network. “BEN remains fully committed to supporting Accelevate’s airport expansion across the United States and into public-sector opportunities in Latin America.”

Ownership
BEN holds a minority interest in Accelevate. Following the Company’s previously disclosed $1 million strategic investment and related warrant arrangements, BEN’s ownership is expected to be approximately 20%. Accelevate is not consolidated under U.S. GAAP, and Accelevate revenue is not recognized as BEN revenue.

Built for the Desert: SVOLT Energy Showcases Full-Scenario Energy Storage Solutions at Middle East Energy 2026

Published

By

DUBAI, UAE, Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On September 1, SVOLT Energy made a major appearance at Middle East Energy 2026 in Dubai, showcasing its full portfolio of “desert special forces” energy storage solutions. Designed to withstand temperatures of up to 50°C, intense sand and dust, and significant temperature variations, the portfolio demonstrates SVOLT Energy’s capabilities in delivering safe, reliable, and high-performance energy storage for demanding environments.

The portfolio features the 122Ah residential energy storage cell, 6.29MWh utility-scale energy storage system, and 285kWh C&I energy storage system, covering diverse energy storage applications from residential to utility-scale projects.

122Ah Residential Storage Cell: Ultra-Wide Temperature Range, Built for Diverse Applications

As a flagship product in the global residential energy storage market, the 122Ah stacked cell has entered the supply chains of five leading global residential storage customers, with monthly shipments exceeding one million units.

Built on automotive-grade short-blade stacking technology, the cell supports charging at -20°C, discharging at -30°C, and stable operation at temperatures up to 60°C, making it suitable for extreme climates. Its low-resistance stacked design and fanless design support long cycle life, low energy loss, and operating noise below 30dB.

6.29MWh Utility-Scale BESS: Short-Blade CTR Stacking Technology + Dual-Sided Liquid Cooling

SVOLT Energy showcased its 6.29MWh energy storage system featuring the industry-first short-blade CTR stacking technology.

The technology increases volumetric utilization by 20%, reduces footprint by 36%, and, combined with an AB mirrored configuration, supports back-to-back deployment, further reducing land requirements by 30%.

The system adopts an innovative three-compartment design that physically separates the battery, electrical, and cooling systems, helping prevent thermal runaway propagation at the structural level.

Its dual-sided liquid cooling reduces the temperature difference between individual cells from approximately 15°C to 7°C, a 50% reduction, supporting a system cycle life of more than 10,000 cycles.

285kWh C&I All-in-One ESS: CTR + Dual-Sided Liquid Cooling + AI-BMS

For commercial and industrial users, SVOLT Energy’s 285kWh C&I all-in-one energy storage system combines high integration with intelligent energy management.

The short-blade CTR module-free design reduces the number of components by 36% and cuts direct material costs by 10%. Dual-sided liquid cooling reduces cell temperature differences by 50% and further improves cycle life by 10%. The integrated AI-BMS dynamically optimizes charging and discharging strategies, improving operation and maintenance efficiency by 60%.

From residential applications to desert power stations and large-scale renewable energy bases, SVOLT Energy’s full-scenario energy storage portfolio demonstrates how advanced short-blade technology, CTR, dual-sided liquid cooling, and AI-BMS can deliver greater safety, efficiency, and reliability across the Middle East Africa market.
