DENVER, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Direct Travel, one of the world’s largest travel management companies, has today published its first annual Direct Impact Report following the acquisition of ATPI, bringing together its sustainability and social impact activity from across the expanded Direct Travel organisation.

Covering key reporting metrics from the 2025 calendar year, the report establishes an important foundation for measuring future progress as Direct Travel continues to expand its global capabilities across corporate travel, specialty travel, leisure travel and meetings & events.

The report demonstrates how the company is embedding responsible business practices and building long-term value for clients, employees, suppliers and the communities it serves, while supporting a more sustainable and responsible future for the industry.

Accelerating Sustainable Travel

The report highlights how Direct Travel has established a comprehensive baseline of its Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions across its combined operations, creating a clear starting point to track progress over time and demonstrating the company’s commitment to climate action and transparency.

Direct Travel also made its first climate disclosure through CDP, the global environmental disclosure platform, receiving a B rating for its approach to managing and reporting climate-related impacts. The company was subsequently recognised on CDP’s Supplier Engagement A-List for its work to engage suppliers on climate action, demonstrating the importance of collaboration across the wider travel ecosystem in addressing emissions.

The report further identifies business travel, reported within Scope 3 Category 6, as the largest contributor of Direct Travel’s global greenhouse gas footprint. While travel remains essential to supporting clients, connecting teams and operating as a global business, Direct Travel is taking active steps to reduce the impact this creates.

To address this, it supported six carbon projects across Africa, Asia and Latin America, representing 1,963 tonnes of CO2e. The portfolio included projects focused on renewable energy, forest protection and restoration, cleaner cooking and access to safe water, delivering environmental and community benefits in regions around the world.

Helping Clients Measure and Reduce Travel Emissions

Beyond its own climate reporting, Direct Travel continued to support clients in taking greater control of their travel emissions. The company helped clients adopt Thrust Carbon’s emissions measurement platform, providing access to reliable, granular data to inform their sustainability strategies.

By enhancing access to flight, hotel, rail and car hire emissions data within existing travel programmes, clients gained greater visibility of their travel footprint and a more consistent approach to sustainability reporting.

Beyond measurement, Direct Travel expanded access to sustainability insights, helping organisations embed emissions data into day-to-day travel management and make more informed decisions. As sustainability expectations continue to rise, organisations increasingly require accurate, accessible data to support reporting requirements, policy decisions and strategic programme planning.

The company also expanded its partnerships across the aviation ecosystem to improve access to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for corporate travel. As demand for sustainable travel solutions grows, Direct Travel continues to play an active role in helping clients understand emerging decarbonisation pathways and make informed decisions aligned with their sustainability goals.

Among the collaborations highlighted in the report are partnerships with fuel producers including CFP Energy and Neste, as well as major airlines including Delta Air Lines, aimed at strengthening understanding of SAF’s role in corporate sustainability strategies,

Jeroen Van Hest, SVP, Strategy Execution & ESG Lead, said: “Sustainability is embedded in the way we do business, shaping how we support our colleagues, serve our clients, collaborate with suppliers, and partner across our network. We also believe that innovation plays a vital role in creating a more sustainable future, helping us find smarter ways to operate, reduce our impact, and deliver greater value. For us, sustainability is not about perfection, but about making more responsible choices every day, continuously improving, embracing new ideas, and helping our clients make informed, sustainable business decisions through the insights and expertise we provide.”

Building an Inclusive and Engaged Workforce

Investing in employees remains central to Direct Travel’s service-led model, recognising that engaged and empowered teams are fundamental to delivering exceptional experiences for clients and travellers. Through initiatives that encourage connection, support personal and professional development, and embrace diverse perspectives, Direct Travel continues to build a culture where people are encouraged to grow, contribute and make a difference.

This commitment is reflected in more than 30,684 hours of professional and development-focused training completed across the global organisation during the year, equivalent to an average of 7.22 hours per full-time employee. Beyond the workplace, employees are also making a positive contribution to the communities in which Direct Travel operates. Roughly one in every six employees took part in volunteering initiatives, contributing to over 4,525 hours globally.

In addition, Direct Travel is also making significant progress on gender diversity, with women holding 50% of leadership positions across the organisation. This reflects the company’s continued commitment to advancing greater opportunities for representation and progression at every level.

Together, these initiatives demonstrate Direct Travel’s commitment to creating a workplace where people can develop, contribute and thrive, strengthening the organisation while supporting the clients and communities. This commitment sits alongside a 98% client retention rate, reflecting the trust the company has built through consistently delivering high-quality service.

Christal Bemont, Chief Executive Officer, added: “This report marks an important milestone for Direct Travel, bringing together our sustainability and social impact efforts for the first time following the acquisition of our long-term partner, ATPI.

“As our organisation has grown, so too has our focus on building the capabilities needed to make better decisions and support long-term progress. Looking ahead, we have a significant opportunity to build on the strengths of our expanded organisation, sharing expertise, innovation and responsible business practices across our global network.

“Through continued investment in solutions such as our Avenir platform, which helps clients make more informed travel decisions, we are well positioned to support more sustainable, inclusive and resilient travel and event programmes. While there is still more work to be done, we are building a stronger future for our industry – one that balances business success with positive impact for people, communities and our planet.”

Ember Launches Newly Designed Temperature-Controlled Tumbler 2 for On-the-Go and Outdoor Use

New 16-ounce tumbler features a sleek design to fit any car cup holder and includes on-device temperature control, a dishwasher-safe design, and two lid options.

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Ember Technologies, the global leader in temperature-controlled drinkware, launched Tumbler 2 today. The new 16-ounce tumbler features a slimmer, taller design that fits standard car cup holders, on-device temperature control and a top-rack dishwasher-safe build, making it easier than ever to enjoy coffee or other hot drinks on the go. Tumbler 2 builds on the foundation of Ember’s original Travel Mug 2 and Tumbler, rounding out the lineup with a new option built around portability.

“Simplicity has been at the heart of everything we’ve built since day one,” said Matt Murray, CEO of Ember. “We built our mugs for the kitchen table and the desk. Tumbler 2 carries the temperature-control technology Ember is known for out the door, keeping drinks exactly the way you want wherever the day leads.”

The redesigned Tumbler 2 body is slimmer and taller than the original Tumbler, built around the same portability that made Ember’s Travel Mug 2 popular. Tumbler 2 keeps the original Tumbler’s 16 ounces in a more versatile design, large enough to get through a soccer practice, a morning on the boat fishing, or a full shift on a job site without a refill.

Tumbler 2 adds new features Ember recently introduced with the recent Mug 3 launch, including on-tumbler temperature control. Owners can set their preferred temperature directly on the new Tumbler, or through the Ember app. One click sets 125 degrees Fahrenheit, and each additional click raises it five degrees, up to 145 degrees Fahrenheit. Indicator lights on the Tumbler 2 show the battery level while it charges on its coaster.

Like Mug 3, Tumbler 2 is also now top-rack dishwasher-safe. Every Tumbler 2 ships with a charging coaster and two lids, a leak-proof Handle Lid and a spill-proof Sliding Lid, so owners can pick whichever one fits what they’re doing. The Handle Lid is built for carrying a drink before it’s time to enjoy it without worrying about a leak. The Sliding Lid opens with one hand right away, behind the wheel. With the included lid on, a single charge powers the tumbler for up to two hours and 45 minutes.

Tumbler 2 replaces both the Travel Mug 2 and the original Tumbler in Ember’s lineup. The Travel Mug 2 will remain available while supplies last.

Tumbler 2 is available today for $179 in black and Sandstone at ember.com and is also immediately available online and in-store at Target. The Tumbler 2 will be available on Amazon starting October 19.

Benzinga’s Analyst Insights enhances the TradingView platform, delivering accessible sell-side research alongside industry-leading charting and community-driven tools

DETROIT, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Benzinga, a leading provider of real-time financial news and market data, and TradingView, one of the world’s leading charting platforms and social networks for traders and investors, today announced a collaboration to expand access to professional-grade analyst research across TradingView’s global community.

Through this integration, Benzinga’s Analyst Insights product is incorporated into the TradingView platform and news experience, delivering timely, easy-to-digest summaries of sell-side analyst reports directly within the tools millions of traders use every day.

TradingView’s platform provides the ideal environment for these insights to be applied in context, alongside real-time charts, technical indicators, and a highly engaged global community sharing ideas and strategies. The result is a more connected trading experience where data, analysis, and market perspective come together in one place.

Professional analyst research has long influenced market sentiment, but accessing and interpreting that information has often been a challenge. Reports are typically dense, technical, and distributed through institutional channels, making it difficult for many traders to quickly identify the key takeaways.

Benzinga’s Analyst Insights addresses this gap by transforming complex analyst commentary into clear, qualitative summaries that highlight the reasoning behind rating changes, price targets, and outlook shifts. Rather than replacing traditional research, it makes those insights more accessible and easier to act on.

TradingView complements this by providing a powerful platform where those insights can be applied in real time. Known for its advanced charting capabilities and intuitive user experience, TradingView enables users to visualize market movements, test strategies, and engage with a global network of traders, all within a single, seamless interface.

“TradingView has built one of the most widely used and respected platforms in trading, and their community values speed, clarity, and insight,” said Andrew Lebbos, SVP of Licensing at Benzinga. “Analyst Insights was created to make professional research more accessible. Bringing it into a platform where traders are actively analyzing the market makes that information even more useful.”

“A successful trade requires both sharp technical analysis and deep fundamental context. Adding Benzinga’s Analyst Insights into our platform enhances that combination. We are empowering our community of millions to instantly validate their ideas with professional research, all within the charts they already rely on every single day,” said Alexander Bondar, VP of Content at TradingView.

As trading continues to evolve, the ability to combine technical, fundamental, and sentiment-driven analysis within a single environment is becoming increasingly important. This collaboration reflects a shared focus on improving how traders access, interpret, and act on information.

By bringing together Benzinga’s real-time financial intelligence and TradingView’s powerful platform and community, traders gain the context and tools needed to navigate markets with greater confidence and efficiency.

The nomination highlights Leslie’s ability to foster deeper, human-centric partnerships within the IT channel.

SYRACUSE, N.Y., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Leslie Jemiolo, Director of Partner Marketing at MarketDesign Consulting Inc., has been named a finalist for CRN’s Women of the Year Awards in the Woman of the Year – Solution Provider category. This nomination recognizes Leslie’s decades of channel experience and her influence in building partner ecosystems across the technology sector. Full award details can be found here.

Leslie’s career spans telecom, solution providers, and manufacturing, where she has consistently transformed vendor-partner relationships into measurable business growth. By integrating operational excellence with strategic channel dynamics, she has led high-impact campaigns and client success initiatives for several of the industry’s most prominent organizations.

“I’m incredibly grateful to be named a finalist for CRN’s Woman of the Year – Solution Provider award, especially alongside so many women who are making a meaningful impact across our channel,” said Leslie. “I’ve spent my career believing that the best results happen when you put relationships first and give people the right support to turn good ideas into action. The channel has never been more diverse in how partners operate, serve customers, and create value, and I believe our opportunity is to build partner marketing programs that embrace that diversity rather than ask every partner to work the same way. When vendors and partners align around shared goals, remove friction, and make room for the relationships that actually drive this business, everyone has a better opportunity to grow. I’m proud to be part of a community that keeps pushing that work forward.”

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Leslie is noted for a creative approach to leadership that emphasizes empathy and foresight. Her experience in field marketing and partner development allows her to bridge the gap between technical implementation and business value, a skill-set that has become vital for modern solution providers.

CRN’s Women of the Year Awards aims to shine a spotlight on women who have made significant contributions to the channel throughout 2026. Winners will be announced on December 8 in New York City.
