Clement Wealth Management Encourages Families to Talk About Money Before a Crisis

Founder Francis Clement outlines five conversation starters to help families discuss aging, financial wishes and protection against scams

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Who would you call if an aging parent received a suspicious request for money, or suddenly needed help managing bills? Francis Clement, of Clement Wealth Management, is encouraging families to discuss those questions before an emergency forces decisions, outlining five ways to begin a conversation that respects older adults’ privacy and independence.

The U.S. population age 65 and older reached 61.2 million in 2024, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. As families consider changing needs with age, financial preparedness includes understanding a loved one’s wishes, knowing where important information is kept and agreeing on how to ask for support.

“The first question doesn’t have to be, ‘How much money do you have?'” said Francis Clement, founder of Clement Wealth Management. “It can be, ‘If something unexpected happened, what would you want us to know, and who would you want us to call?’ That gives families a place to begin while keeping the person’s wishes at the center.”

Clement suggests starting with five questions:

1. What would you want help with, and what would you prefer to keep private? Begin by asking permission to talk. Discuss what support would be useful and who the older adult wants involved. The first conversation does not need to include account balances or a complete review of finances.

2. If you needed help unexpectedly, who should we contact? Identify the financial professionals and other people the older adult relies on. With their permission, keep contact information somewhere an appropriate person can locate it in an emergency.

3. Where are important records kept? Discuss how an authorized person could locate relevant financial and legal documents when needed, including any power of attorney (POA), which identifies who has been designated to act on someone’s behalf and under what terms. Families should know where these documents are stored and whom to contact with questions. Review questions about authority with the appropriate professionals; knowing where records are kept does not itself grant access or decision-making authority.

4. What is our plan for a suspicious request for money? Agree on a simple response: pause and independently verify unexpected requests before sending money or sharing information. Call the person or institution using a known, reliable number–not one supplied in the suspicious message. Choose someone the older adult feels comfortable consulting without judgment.

5. When should we revisit the conversation? Agree on a comfortable time to check in again, particularly after changes in health, relationships or financial circumstances. A series of short conversations can make room for questions that do not get resolved in one sitting.

Make scam awareness part of financial preparedness

The FBI reported that complaints from people over age 60 involved more than $7.7 billion in losses in 2025. These are just the losses reported to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center, rather than a measure of all fraud experienced by older adults (FBI source).

Scam preparedness can include discussing whom to call when a request feels urgent, secretive or unusual. Families can also ask financial institutions about available safeguards, including a trusted contact designation. For brokerage accounts, a trusted contact may be engaged in certain circumstances but does not gain authority to transact or make decisions on the account (SEC investor guidance).

“Families can make it easier to ask for help by agreeing that a suspicious call or message is something to talk about, without blame or embarrassment,” Clement said. “The goal is to help someone feel supported and confident about the next step.”

Anyone who suspects fraud should promptly contact the relevant financial institution and report suspected internet-enabled crime to the FBI at ic3.gov.

Apollo Reveals the AI GTM System Bringing Data, Intelligence and Execution into a Single Engine, Ushering in the Future of Go-to-Market

Launch of Apollo Builder Studio, Intelligence Layer and Messaging OS makes sophisticated GTM simple and accessible to businesses of any size

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Apollo, the AI go-to-market system, today held its annual ApolloNEXT conference where it unveiled three major new products designed to fundamentally change how businesses build and operate their revenue engines. Apollo Builder Studio, the Apollo Intelligence Layer and Apollo Messaging OS give revenue teams a connected way to help build custom GTM workflows with AI, determine which opportunities matter most, and turn those insights into action to drive revenue.

For years, world-class GTM required significant resources: specialized teams, technical expertise and a collection of tools stitched together across prospecting, data, engagement, signals and automation. AI is changing that equation. Apollo’s new products bring those capabilities into one connected system, giving businesses of any size the ability to build sophisticated GTM workflows, understand which customers and opportunities matter most, and turn that intelligence into action—while still using the tools and AI environments already embedded in their workflows, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Salesforce and Slack.

“Sales and marketing teams are at a structural inflection point. AI is changing not just how quickly teams can work, but how companies will build and operate their entire revenue engine. Context is necessary for AI, and disconnected teams and software must now quickly adapt,” said Matt Curl, CEO of Apollo. “We’ve had to solve this differently, and give customers a solution that doesn’t require millions of dollars and a complex technology stack. Apollo has made sophisticated GTM simple and accessible to every company, not just the top one percent.”

Apollo’s AI GTM System
The new products are designed to work together as a continuous GTM system, helping teams build the workflows they need, determine what should happen next based on customer context and signals, and execute across sales and marketing. This includes:

Apollo Builder Studio is Apollo’s natural-language builder for revenue teams. Teams describe the GTM tools and workflows they need, and Builder Studio turns them into working pages, databases and automations built on Apollo’s data and execution infrastructure, with full control and no engineering backlog. From prospecting, to pipeline management, to account monitoring, early beta users are building custom workflows and tools tailored to how their teams sell. Less-technical operators now have power-user capabilities, while experienced GTM pros can now build and execute faster. Apollo’s early customers are now automating sequencing and outbound without pulling in engineering support. The Apollo Intelligence Layer is Apollo’s GTM context engine for revenue teams. It provides the shared context that enables AI to understand customers, prioritize opportunities and recommend what should happen next. It connects customer data and business context to optimize GTM and take action with minimal human involvement. Early customers are using this intelligence to prioritize prospects and sharpen targeting based on the signals and behaviors most relevant to their businesses. The Apollo Intelligence Layer includes:Apollo Intelligence Profile, which creates a complete, continuously updated view of each contact and account that unifies and enriches data across Apollo, customer CRM, engagement history, and other connected sources. It gives teams and agents the context to help target buyers, prioritize accounts, and tailor outreach.GTM Harness, Apollo’s purpose-built AI and context engine, which reasons over that information using GTM-specific skills, orchestration, memory and governance to help teams determine which accounts matter, who to engage and what action to take.Apollo Messaging OS is Apollo’s signal-based execution system for sales and marketing. It uses buying signals and AI to recommend who to reach, when, and through which channel, helping teams act on buyer intent and avoid disconnected or overlapping outreach. Early users are putting these signals directly into action through automated outreach, with the system learning from engagement and conversion outcomes to improve future targeting and messaging. With Email Campaigns and Ad Audiences, Messaging OS expands Apollo’s existing email, sequencing, and dialing capabilities into marketing campaigns and advertising.Email Campaigns allow users to build and send marketing email campaigns directly from Apollo. The new Bulk Send API also lets agents execute campaigns.Ad Audiences let users turn their Apollo lists into audiences that push to Google Ads, and reach buyers with ads alongside the email sequences they’re already running.

“AI has changed how software gets built, but most go-to-market teams are still stitching tools together to make it all work,” said Mark Sieglock, Chief Product Officer at Apollo. “That changes today. Tell Apollo what you want to accomplish, and the system gets built, the outreach runs, and the intelligence layer learns from who buys, which messages work, what closes deals and then uses that knowledge to improve targeting and outreach. Apollo gets smarter as your business grows.”

“We’ve used Apollo to scale outbound operations and integrate data with our proprietary sources. This wouldn’t have been possible if Apollo hadn’t invested in AI-native capabilities that power world-class GTM across interfaces,” said Marc Daniels, Head of GTM at Magenta.

Recently, Apollo’s AI in Sales and GTM survey found that end-to-end workflow automation is the top AI priority for today’s revenue teams, even as the vast majority of teams are still navigating between two and five GTM platforms.

Apollo’s approach is designed to give teams a connected system without requiring a rip-and-replace strategy. For smaller and scaling businesses, that means gaining access to sophisticated GTM capabilities without building a large RevOps organization or buying a collection of specialized tools. For larger enterprises, it creates an opportunity to consolidate fragmented infrastructure while giving AI the shared context required to work across teams and workflows.

Apollo’s business continues to grow: the company has doubled its user base year-over-year, now serving more than 5 million users. The number of teams actively using Apollo’s MCP grew more than 4x over the six-month period from March to August 2026, and teams are also leveraging it more heavily, as daily credit consumption is up nearly 10x over the same time period. Today Apollo powers GTM for more than 600,000 companies, from founders and small businesses building their first repeatable revenue motion to some of the world’s largest enterprises, including more than 100 teams at Fortune 500 companies. The new products extend Apollo’s mission to make world-class GTM accessible to every company, regardless of size, technical sophistication or resources.

Curl unveiled the new capabilities during his keynote at ApolloNEXT, Apollo’s annual gathering of customers, partners and GTM leaders focused on the future of go-to-market. Read more about Curl’s vision for the future of Apollo, GTM, and what these product enhancements mean here.

Builder Studio and Messaging OS will be available soon; you can find more information here, and the Apollo Intelligence Layer is available now.
