Z-TEXT zk-SNARKs Messenger Launches: No Phone, No Email, No SIM

Published

on

Z-TEXT, a privacy messenger built on the BitcoinZ blockchain, launches with no phone number, email or SIM. zk-SNARKs hide who’s talking; the blockchain never forgets what’s said.

SHERIDAN, Wyo., Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Z-TEXT, a privacy messenger built on the BitcoinZ blockchain, is now available for download: no phone number, no email, no SIM card, no KYC. Identities are generated from a seed phrase and can be discarded and replaced anytime. zk-SNARKs shield who is talking to whom, and the blockchain gives every message shielded permanence.

“A whistleblower, a journalist, anyone who needs to speak without being silenced shouldn’t have to trust a company. The math should protect them, not a privacy policy.”

PRIVATE: SHIELDED BY ZK-SNARKS

Every message travels as a shielded BitcoinZ transaction. zk-SNARKs are zero-knowledge proofs that let the blockchain confirm a transaction is valid without revealing who sent it or who received it. The message itself is encrypted on the device with AES-256-GCM before it leaves the phone.

No central message server holds Z-TEXT conversations: what exists on-chain is an encrypted, shielded transaction, not a readable transcript.

Live proof from the BitcoinZ explorer: a shielded-to-shielded transaction where both sender and recipient are private. Verify it at explorer.getbtcz.com.

TX hash: 46fea9f91c84675226d71f1030c056e692330f7928344a2d02681f01f1fbc7a2

ETERNAL: SHIELDED PERMANENCE

Most apps treat deletion as safety, but “delete” rarely erases anything. Data often lingers on a disk or on a server.

Z-TEXT messages do not sit in a company’s message database. They settle on a decentralized blockchain, with no delete button to reach. Disappearing is surrender, not security.

zk-SNARKs hide who is talking, and AES-256-GCM encryption keeps what is written unreadable to anyone but the recipient.

ONE APP, ONE BLOCKCHAIN, FIVE TOOLS

Z-TEXT combines five tools in one app: a messenger, a BTCZ wallet, an on-chain password manager, a broadcast feature called Channels, and a disposable ID system (a shielded address you can discard and replace at will).

Each identity is its own 24-word seed, and that one seed unlocks all five tools. No phone, no email, no SIM, no separate account for each one.

FOUNDER QUOTE

“I believe in zk-SNARKs the way some people believe in free speech itself,” said Eric Pierrot, founder of Z-TEXT. “A whistleblower, a journalist, anyone who needs to speak without being silenced: they shouldn’t have to trust a company. The math should protect them, not a privacy policy.”

HOW IT WORKS

Z-TEXT is built on three layers:

The BitcoinZ blockchain: decentralized, permanent, recoverable from a seedzk-SNARKs: proving a transaction is valid without revealing sender or recipientQuantum-resistant cryptography: ML-KEM-768, live since version 3.7.0, protecting the key exchange against future quantum computers

Sending a message costs 0.0002 BTCZ: a 0.0001 BTCZ network fee plus 0.0001 BTCZ delivered to the recipient. In a normal back-and-forth, that amount comes back with each reply, so the real cost is about 0.0001 BTCZ per message. That is small enough for real conversations and expensive enough to make mass spam pointless.

CREDIBILITY PROOF

BitcoinZ’s first block was mined on September 10, 2017: nine years of continuous operation combining Bitcoin‘s proof-of-work model with Zcash’s zk-SNARK privacy, with no premine and no ICO. Its 21 billion BTCZ supply cap keeps individual coins accessible.

Z-TEXT does not own or control BitcoinZ. It is a community-run, GPU-mineable blockchain, not a company-controlled token. A June 2026 independent security review confirmed BitcoinZ’s supply integrity.

Z-TEXT also runs an active bug bounty, with rewards up to $1,500 per finding, paid in ZEC from a public, verifiable pool at address t1bV6TkNwWBGBPtGhJCNEQZChpGVivHhHGE, with one payout already on record.

AVAILABILITY

Z-TEXT is available now at z-text.com/downloads for Android, macOS, Windows and Linux. iOS is coming to the App Store. Every build is published with a SHA-256 checksum so anyone can verify the file has not been altered.

Wallet functions, reading saved data and reading Channels are free. A license code unlocks messaging, new password manager entries, Channels posts and new disposable identities, starting at $3 per month at z-text.com/packages, payable in BTC, ETH, ZEC and other major cryptocurrencies. Unused credits never expire.

Signal is now testing phone-number-free sign-up in its Android beta, for a one-time $3 fee. Z-TEXT was built without phone numbers from day one: no phone, no email, no SIM, no KYC, with messenger, wallet, password manager, Channels and disposable IDs in one app.

ABOUT Z-TEXT

Z-TEXT is a privacy messenger, wallet, password manager and broadcast platform built on the BitcoinZ blockchain. It is entirely self-funded, with no venture capital, and does not issue or control BTCZ. Identity comes from a disposable 24-word seed, not a company database. Z-TEXT is available now for Android, macOS, Windows and Linux at z-text.com, with iOS coming to the App Store.

Sailorfy Advances Digital Trust in Maritime Careers by Keeping Seafarers in Control of Their Data

Published

on

By

SINGAPORE and MANILA, Philippines, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Sailorfy, a digital identity and credential platform developed by Seatrick Innovations Pte Ltd Singapore, is advancing a more transparent and trusted approach to maritime careers by helping seafarers organize, manage and present their professional information through a structured digital environment.

For seafarers, professional credentials are more than documents. Certificates, training records, sea-service history, employment details and other qualifications can determine whether a career opportunity is accessible. Yet these records are often maintained across paper files, emails, messaging platforms and multiple disconnected systems, making it challenging to keep information current and demonstrate credentials efficiently.

Recent developments across the maritime sector have quietly reinforced the importance of reliable crew certification and credential management. Instances involving fraudulent or improperly issued certificates have highlighted the need for stronger verification and greater confidence in professional records.

These developments point to a broader industry requirement: maritime credentials need to be not only digital, but also accessible, trustworthy and managed responsibly.

Sailorfy is designed to place seafarers at the centre of this process.

Through the platform, maritime professionals can build a digital profile, organize credentials and career records, connect with the wider maritime community, and access tools and learning opportunities that support professional development. Sailorfy’s approach is intended to help reduce information gaps between seafarers, training institutions, maritime professionals and employers, while supporting smoother career and workforce processes.

The growing global adoption of electronic certification and digital compliance processes is changing how maritime credentials are created, maintained and accessed. As this transition continues, resilient and seafarer-centred digital infrastructure can play an increasingly important role in maintaining continuity, reducing information gaps and supporting trust across the maritime workforce.

Sailorfy aims to contribute to this evolution by helping create a seafarer-centred digital trust layer. The objective is simple: make professional identity easier to manage, easier to verify and more useful for the people who build their careers at sea.

About Sailorfy

Sailorfy, developed by Seatrick Innovations Pte Ltd (Singapore), is a 360° trust infrastructure platform for the global maritime industry. It digitizes and secures the lifecycle of seafarer credentials — issuance, renewal, verification, and audit — replacing fragmented, manual, paper-based processes with a live, multi-stakeholder digital ecosystem.
