Waton Financial Launches MoTA Alpha, Marking Full Strategic Pivot to AI-Native Finance

Published

on

HONG KONG, June 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Waton Financial Limited (NASDAQ: WTF) today announced the release of MoTA Alpha, a major upgrade to its flagship AI-powered investment platform. First unveiled in closed beta in May 2026, MoTA (Manager of Trading Agents) now introduces the Agent Talents Market, a creator ecosystem for third-party AI trading agents, alongside a redesigned multi-agent collaboration workflow and a fully overhauled user experience. The Alpha release represents more than a product milestone — it signals Waton’s decisive transition from a securities brokerage and SaaS provider into an AI-native financial technology company.

MoTA Alpha: What’s New

MoTA Alpha builds on the beta’s foundation as an AI-native investment team workbench — a platform that enables professional investors and portfolio managers to assemble, manage, and supervise teams of specialized AI agents across research, analysis, risk, and execution functions within a structured, auditable workflow, with mandatory human review and final sign-off at every stage.

Three headline upgrades define this release:

Agent Talents Market
An open marketplace where third-party developers can create, publish, and rank AI trading agents. Users subscribe to or deploy agents built by independent creators, with all agents running on Waton’s infrastructure. Agent’s internal logic remains under creator control; Waton provides the platform layer and execution environment.

Enhanced Multi-Agent Collaboration
A rebuilt task orchestration layer that improves inter-agent communication, role assignment, and decision audit trails. The result is a workflow that mirrors the dynamics of a real investment team — each agent operates within its mandate, escalates to human supervisors where required, and maintains a complete, reviewable log.

Redesigned Interface
A significantly improved user experience that preserves MoTA’s distinctive 8-bit pixel-art visual identity — a deliberate departure from the blue-and-white minimalism that dominates fintech — while increasing information density and operational speed for professional workflows.

The Strategic Pivot

MoTA Alpha represents the clearest demonstration yet of Waton’s evolution from a financial infrastructure provider into an AI-native product company.

Since its NASDAQ listing in April 2025, Waton has positioned itself as the world’s first publicly traded AI agent holding company. Yet its revenue base has remained rooted in traditional securities brokerage and Broker Cloud SaaS solutions serving institutional clients in Hong Kong. MoTA Alpha changes that equation: AI is no longer a narrative layer on top of an existing brokerage business — it is now a tangible, independently monetizable product line.

The company is structuring itself around a “brokerage infrastructure + AI application” dual-engine model. This is a meaningfully different profile from either pure-play online brokers or conventional fintech SaaS firms, positioning Waton closer to the emerging category of AI-native financial platforms.

Financial Foundation

According to Waton’s unaudited financial results for the first half of fiscal year 2026 (six months ended September 30, 2025), total revenues rose 106.3% year-on-year to $6.10 million, driven by a 223.1% increase in brokerage and commission income to $4.17 million. Cash and segregated cash stood at $29.88 million, with total assets of $68.98 million.

Notably, the company reported research and development expenses as a standalone line item for the first time ($0.39 million in H1 FY2026), alongside significant share-based compensation tied to AI product development. MoTA Alpha is the first scaled output of this R&D pipeline.

Management Commentary

“The Alpha release of MoTA marks Waton’s evolution from a financial technology services provider to an AI-era infrastructure and product company,” said Zhou Kai (Tony Zhou), Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of Waton Financial. “We are not building a chatbot for trading. We are building a platform where professional investors manage teams of AI agents — each with defined roles, clear accountability, and human oversight. The Agent Talents Market extends this further: MoTA transitions from a product into an ecosystem.”

Roadmap

Following the Alpha release, Waton expects to open MoTA to public beta testing in Q3 2026. The platform currently supports Hong Kong and U.S. equity markets, with digital asset coverage on the product roadmap. MoTA is available as a standalone application at m.mota.ai and integrates with Waton’s existing brokerage and TradingWTF infrastructure.

For investors tracking $WTF, MoTA Alpha serves as the first real test of whether the “AI agent holding company” thesis translates from corporate positioning into a durable commercial model.

Lovense Launches Match Intensity, Turning World Cup Excitement Into Real-Time Sensory Feedback In Its Ecosystem

Published

SINGAPORE, June 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Lovense, a leading sex-tech brand, today announced the launch of Match Intensity, a new World Cup-themed interactive experience that syncs live match events with connected intimacy devices in real time. Available in the Lovense Remote App from June 28 to July 19, 2026, during the tournament’s knockout stage, the feature translates key moments on the pitch, including goals, scored penalties, and red cards, into responsive sensory feedback.

As the 2026 World Cup brings the world together once again, football’s most electrifying moments are being felt across countries, time zones, and cultures: the breathless tension before a penalty, the eruption of joy after a goal, and the frustration of a controversial call. In the very same second, hundreds of millions of fans may cheer, gasp, or celebrate together. Yet until now, much of that intensity has remained on the other side of the screen: powerful, emotional, and shared, but largely confined to a psychological sense of connection.

With Match Intensity, Lovense transforms the adrenaline of the pitch into physical sensation, creating a more immersive viewing experience that brings fans closer to the passion of the game. Built on a dual-layer vibration system, the experience combines continuous background intensity with event-triggered surges. The background layer adjusts vibration strength in real time based on the pace and intensity of the match, keeping users physically connected throughout the game. The event layer adds patterns specially designed by Lovense for key moments such as goals, scored penalties, and red cards, delivering stronger, more dramatic sensations when the action reaches its peak. No matter whether there is a win or loss on the pitch, the intensity always scores.

To join the experience, users simply enter Live Match Mode in the Lovense Remote App, connect their Lovense toys, and activate the mode during the match. Every shift in momentum, every high-stakes play, and every unforgettable turning point can be translated into an instant sensory response, bringing fans closer to the energy of the match in a new and interactive way.

Match Intensity is designed to work within the broader Lovense ecosystem, giving fans more ways to make match-day moments interactive and intimate. With Lovense Sound Mode, device vibrations can respond to the volume of live commentary, crowd noise, or the energy of a watch party. Whether in the stands or watching from home, the thrilling sounds from the field can easily be transformed into responsive sensations, creating a deeper and more immersive experience.

Research has suggested that intense sporting events can affect hormone levels, emotional arousal, and desire. After an exciting match, intimacy can become a way to celebrate victory, soften defeat, or extend the thrill of the moment. For fans watching apart, Lovense Remote App allows partners to control each other’s toy from near or far, making shared excitement possible across any distance.

Lovense has always been committed to creating closer and deeper connections,” said Dan Liu, the CEO of Lovense. “Global sports events bring people around the world into the same emotional moment, and for couples, that shared excitement can also become a way to feel closer. This creates a natural opportunity for the Lovense ecosystem, because match-day excitement and personal pleasure do not have to exist in separate worlds. With Match Intensity, Lovense is closing the distance between people, screens, and sensations. We hope everyone can enjoy not only the excitement of the game, but also the freedom of personal enjoyment.”

AGIBOT’s 15,000th Robot Rolls Off the Production Line, Marking a New Milestone in Embodied AI Deployment

Published

on

By

SHANGHAI, June 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — AGIBOT, a global leader in embodied AI and robotics, today announced that its 15,000th robot has officially rolled off the production line. The milestone unit is the AGIBOT G2, an industrial-grade embodied task robot designed for industrial and real-world operational scenarios.

Following the rollout of its 5,000th and 10,000th robots, this latest milestone marks another significant step in AGIBOT’s scaling journey. It reflects the company’s continued progress in moving embodied AI robots from product validation and batch production toward larger-scale delivery and real-world deployment.

“The rollout of our 15,000th robot is not only an important milestone in AGIBOT’s mass production and engineering delivery capabilities, but also a reflection of the broader industry’s move toward scaled deployment in real-world settings,” said Dr. Yao Maoqing, Partner, Senior Vice President, President of Embodied AI Business Unit at AGIBOT. “As the industry moves from proof of concept toward real-world application, AGIBOT will continue to bring robots into more real-world scenarios and advance the industrialization of embodied AI through scaled delivery and deployment.”

Scaling to 15,000 Units
Founded in February 2023, AGIBOT has rapidly achieved a series of production milestones, moving from 1,000 units to 5,000, 10,000, and now 15,000 units. This pace reflects the company’s ability to accelerate from early product validation to scaled production in a relatively short period.

AGIBOT previously announced that it took around one year to grow from the first 1,000 units to 5,000 units. The next step, from 5,000 to 10,000 units, took only three months, with production speed increasing by more than four times compared with the previous phase. With the 15,000th robot now rolling off the production line, AGIBOT has further extended this acceleration.

The journey from 1,000 to 5,000 units marked AGIBOT’s transition from product validation to batch delivery. The move from 5,000 to 10,000 units demonstrated further progress in scaled manufacturing. The latest milestone, from 10,000 to 15,000 units, shows that AGIBOT is bringing embodied AI robots into a larger phase of production and real-world application.

What Enables AGIBOT’s Scale?
The completion of AGIBOT’s 15,000th robot marks more than a production milestone. It reflects a broader set of capabilities spanning product portfolio development, supply chain readiness, standardized manufacturing, engineering delivery, and on-site deployment.

Embodied AI robots are not simply hardware products. Bringing them from production to real-world use requires integrated capabilities across robot body design, full-system manufacturing, software-hardware integration, application-specific adaptation, and implementation in the field. Sustained production at this scale requires not only strong product development, but also reliable supply, repeatable manufacturing processes, and the ability to deliver robots into working environments. To support this scale-up, AGIBOT has continued to strengthen its standardized supply chain and quality control systems across key components, robot assembly, testing, and delivery coordination. This operational foundation helps ensure that robots can be produced with consistency, delivered reliably, and deployed for long-term use in real working environments.

AGIBOT’s scaling capabilities are also being validated in real-world settings. In late June, AGIBOT completed approximately 100 cumulative hours of factory livestream operations featuring the AGIBOT G2. During the livestream, the G2 operated across a tablet mass-production quality inspection section, aligned with factory production rhythms, and worked continuously alongside line workers. As a landmark example of embodied AI deployment in a core consumer electronics manufacturing process, the livestream demonstrated AGIBOT’s ability to move robots from production rollout to real production-line deployment.

According to a previous report by market research firm Omdia, AGIBOT ranked first globally in humanoid robot shipments and market share in 2025, with annual shipments of 5,168 units and a 39% share of the global market. From ranking first globally in 2025 shipments to reaching its 15,000th robot production milestone in 2026, AGIBOT’s leadership is extending from shipment performance to sustained production, reliable delivery, and real-world deployment.

For the embodied AI industry, 15,000 units is an important signal. Industry competition is moving beyond single-robot demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects toward scaled production, batch delivery, and real-world application. As more robots enter industrial, commercial, and public-service environments, the ability to sustain large-scale production and deployment will become an important measure of industrialization capability.
