New partnership brings additional resources to support Confluence’s long-term growth and continued investment in clients, advisors and associates
PITTSBURGH, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Confluence Financial Partners (“Confluence”), an independent wealth management firm with approximately $7.6 billion in assets under management and an additional $400 million in 401(k) plan assets as of August 18, 2026*, that has experienced significant growth in recent years, today announced a new strategic partnership with Constellation Wealth Capital (“CWC”).
Through the partnership, CWC will make a minority investment in Confluence, providing additional capital and strategic resources to support the firm’s long-term growth. Confluence will continue to be led and controlled by its existing leadership team and remain focused on the principles that have guided the firm throughout its history: maintaining a client-centered approach, investing in its people and building a business designed to endure.
With five offices across Pennsylvania and Florida including Pittsburgh, McMurray, Sewickley and Grove City, Pennsylvania, and Bonita Springs, Florida. Confluence has continued to expand its presence and capabilities while remaining focused on delivering a high level of service and support for clients. Recently recognized by Citywire as Pennsylvania’s fastest-growing RIA**, the firm enters this partnership from a position of strength and continued momentum.
“For us, this decision was about where we want to take Confluence over the next decade and beyond,” said Greg Weimer, CEO and Co-Founder of Confluence Financial Partners. “We have ambitious plans for our future, but growth alone has never been the goal. We want to continue building a successful firm, one that strives to provide high-quality financial advice to clients, creates meaningful opportunities for our people and gives advisors the resources and support needed to serve clients effectively. We believe Constellation is the right partner to help us do that.”
Confluence has grown by continually reinvesting in the capabilities, expertise and infrastructure needed to serve increasingly complex client needs. The partnership with CWC will create additional opportunities for the firm to make those investments while also supporting strategic growth initiatives.
For clients, the way they work with Confluence will remain unchanged. The firm’s advisors, leadership and approach to financial planning and investment management will remain in place.
“We were intentional about finding a partner who appreciates both what Confluence has become and what we believe it can be,” Weimer said. “Constellation understands our industry, respects our culture and shares our long-term mindset. That alignment was extremely important to us.”
Constellation Wealth Capital focuses exclusively on investing in and supporting wealth management businesses. Its approach combines long-term capital with industry experience and strategic resources while allowing partner firms to retain the leadership, culture and characteristics that have driven their success.
“We are highly impressed by what Greg and Gregory have built at Confluence,” said Pat McHugh, Partner and Head of Investments at Constellation Wealth Capital. “They have established a differentiated brand in the Pittsburgh market, built on a longstanding commitment to client service and enduring client relationships. We see a bright future for this team and are proud to support them.”
“We are thrilled to partner with the Confluence team,” said Karl Heckenberg, Managing Partner and Founder of Constellation Wealth Capital. “We are excited to be able to support their momentum and growth in Pittsburgh and we are confident that this partnership will allow the Confluence team to continue building, growing and delivering great outcomes for their clients and team.”
The partnership comes as Confluence continues to invest in the future of its business and pursue opportunities that enhance the services and support it provides to clients and advisors. With CWC’s support, Confluence plans to build upon that momentum while remaining committed to thoughtful, sustainable growth.
