Global Anti-Scam Summit America Convenes Government Officials, Silicon Valley Leaders, Financial Services Executives and Law Enforcement in San Francisco for the First Time

Published

Leaders from Amazon, Google, OpenAI, Meta, AT&T, Verizon, JP Morgan, the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Treasury, the Attorneys General of California and Utah and others will headline a two-day program focused on identifying the most effective solutions to combat scams and how to scale them

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) today announced the final agenda for the Global Anti-Scam Summit America (“the Summit”), which will bring together leaders from across financial services, technology, telecommunications, cybersecurity, government, law enforcement, and civil society on Wednesday, September 2 and Thursday, September 3 at Pier 48 in San Francisco.

“The Summit is bringing together an extraordinary group of government, technology and industry leaders at a critical moment in the fight against scams,” said Jorij Abraham, Founder and Managing Director of the Global Anti-Scam Alliance. “With new sessions focused on AI-powered scam prevention, mobile security, cross-border fraud and the latest data on the state of scams in the U.S., the agenda is designed to move past the description of the problem and focus on solutions. We want to create an environment where the people working on these issues every day can share what is working, identify where greater collaboration is needed, and help drive meaningful action.”

The Summit occurs at a moment when scams continue to grow in both scale and sophistication, with the crisis impacting banks and payment providers, technology and AI platforms, mobile carriers, law enforcement, regulators, state and federal government, and the victim-support community alike. The Summit’s program is built to surface what is demonstrably working in each of these sectors and to examine how those approaches can be scaled for greater impact – some of the featured sessions include:

Kent Walker, President, Global Affairs and Chief Legal Officer at Alphabet and Google, on how Google assesses the online scam threat and the steps the company is taking to counter it across its products and platforms.Jason Kwon, Chief Strategy Officer at OpenAI, on the challenge of designing and deploying dual-use technology, drawing on OpenAI’s experience with ChatGPT and generative AI more broadly.U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro for the District of Columbia, on results achieved to date by the Scam Center Strike Force, which she launched in November 2025 to target the transnational criminal organizations operating scam centers in Southeast Asia.California Attorney General Rob Bonta and Utah Attorney General Derek Brown, on state-level initiatives to protect consumers and to investigate and prosecute the criminals behind scam operations.Scott Rembrandt, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Strategic Policy in the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes, on progress to date in implementing Executive Order 14390, Combating Cybercrime, Fraud, and Predatory Schemes Against American Citizens.

Newly added sessions address some of the most rapidly evolving areas in the fight against fraud, including AI-powered scam prevention, mobile platform security and cross-border fraud. The Summit will also mark the release of The State of Scams in the United States 2026, produced in collaboration with Iris® Powered by Generali, alongside practical case studies, new research and concrete examples of public-private collaboration from organizations actively working to prevent scams and protect consumers. The Summit, held in Washington DC the last two years, is being hosted in San Francisco this year only weeks after StopScams SF, the first U.S. citywide strategy to protect residents from scams before they occur and to support victims when they do, was announced.

“Convening in San Francisco this year puts us in a city that is taking meaningful steps of its own to address the scam crisis,” said Nils Mueller, Director, North America Chapter, at the Global Anti-Scam Alliance. “But what we are really here to do is bring together the leaders and champions from every sector this crisis touches, from banks and platforms to carriers, law enforcement and consumer protection agencies, and get past the recitation of how bad the problem is. Our focus is on identifying the interventions that are actually reducing harm and working out how to scale them across the country and beyond.”

Virtual attendance is available free of charge, providing those who cannot join in person with access to all sessions on the Summit’s main stage. Members of the press interested in attending or learning more about the Global Anti-Scam Summit America should contact gasa@mgroupsc.com.

Graebel Launches Switch, an AI-Powered Virtual Relocation Assistant, for Graebel CitySwitcher®

Published

DENVER, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Graebel Companies, Inc., a global leader in workforce mobility and managed services, today announced the launch of Switch, a new AI-powered virtual relocation assistant integrated into Graebel CitySwitcher®, its relocation guidance platform for self-managed moves. This announcement comes on the heels of a recent talent management technology implementation award win for CitySwitcher.

Graebel supports more self-managed moves than any other provider, bringing unmatched experience to the challenges employees face when navigating relocation independently. As more employees receive lump-sum benefits, cash allowances, or manage portions of their relocation themselves, the need for accessible, personalized guidance continues to grow. Switch expands CitySwitcher by helping employees navigate relocation decisions with greater confidence, while providing destination insights and resources tailored to their needs. Together, these capabilities turn a traditionally self-service experience into a more guided experience, while preserving the flexibility preferred by many of today’s mobile employees.

Switch combines Graebel’s global mobility expertise, relocation data, and AI to deliver industry-leading capabilities designed to solve real challenges employees face during self-managed moves. For example, employees relocating to an unfamiliar city often struggle to determine which neighborhoods best fit their needs and lifestyle, creating uncertainty that can delay important relocation decisions. Switch’s neighborhood-matching capability provides personalized recommendations to help employees identify promising areas to explore, giving them greater clarity and confidence as they move forward.

“For the last several years, Graebel has been highly invested in its technology, including CitySwitcher,” said Joey Ham, Global Head of Product at Graebel. “Switch is the latest enhancement to the CitySwitcher platform, combining AI-powered technology with Graebel’s relocation expertise to simplify the relocation experience and ultimately employee outcomes for our clients.”

How Switch Changes the Experience
Designed specifically for relocation, Switch delivers tailored guidance that helps employees evaluate options and turn uncertainty into action with practical recommendations that keep their moves progressing. Switch delivers:

Answers to relocation questions in real time, without searching across multiple sources.Guidance tailored to employees’ destinations and personal circumstances.Option comparisons and tradeoffs when making relocation decisions.Relevant resources, services, and next steps based on where employees are in their moves.

Benefits for Mobility Teams
Switch not only supports mobile employees managing their moves but also benefits the mobility teams responsible for the success of the moves. Here’s how Switch delivers for mobility teams:

Provides employees with real-time relocation guidance, reducing dependence on mobility teams to answer routine questions.Reduces program risk by directing employees to trusted relocation guidance and vetted resources instead of generic online searches or non-expert consumer AI tools.Extends relocation support beyond lump-sum and managed-move populations to all employees.

“We are focused on applying technology in ways that solve real challenges for both employees and mobility teams,” said Ham. “Switch is an important step forward, transforming relocation from a collection of tools and resources into a more guided experience that helps employees understand their options, make informed decisions, and move forward with confidence.”
