From AI Experimentation to Enterprise Impact: Visionet’s AI-First Evolution

Published

on

CRANBURY, N.J., Aug. 31, 2026 /CNW/ — The question enterprises are asking is no longer whether AI matters. It is whether their organization is built to scale it. Artificial intelligence has moved from experimentation to an operational imperative. Yet for many organizations, the gap between ambition and execution in enterprise AI adoption remains wide. Building the strategy, technology, and governance required to turn AI potential into measurable business impact is where most organizations stall.

Visionet believes the next phase of enterprise AI is about moving beyond isolated pilots to embedding AI into how organizations operate, make decisions, serve customers, and grow. With deep AI engineering expertise, industry accelerators, and proven production experience, Visionet helps enterprises build, deploy, and scale AI with governance and measurable business outcomes at the core.

That shift is shaping Visionet’s evolution toward an AI-first services model, bringing together AI strategy, engineering, intelligent automation, data, cloud, and managed services. Rather than treating AI as a standalone technology initiative, Visionet helps enterprises build the connected foundation needed to put AI into production and scale it responsibly.

This approach is grounded in Visionet’s own trajectory. As a global IT services company built on decades of enterprise modernization work across retail, insurance, banking, and healthcare, Visionet brings industry-specific context to AI transformation rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. Its continued growth and market momentum were reflected in its recent recognition on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.

From AI Ambition to an AI-First Enterprise

AI experimentation is easy. Digital transformation with AI is harder. Organizations frequently encounter the same barriers: pilots that fail to scale, fragmented data ecosystems, manual processes that constrain productivity, and difficulty demonstrating returns on AI investments.

Visionet’s approach to AI-powered business transformation addresses that gap through a connected model of strategy, engineering, orchestration, governance, and scale. Organizations begin by defining their AI vision, architecture, and operating model. They then develop AI agents, intelligent applications, and AI-powered workflows built around measurable outcomes. Finally, those capabilities are extended across the enterprise with governance, security, and operational support built in from the start.

The differentiator is increasingly not access to models or tools, but the ability to connect AI to the systems, data, people, and processes that run the business.

Building Intelligent Systems That Work in the Real World

Visionet’s AI engineering capabilities span intelligent automation, AI-led decision-making, AI agents, security, and governance, helping enterprises move from experimentation to secure, scalable production. Its portfolio also combines enterprise AI platforms with industry-specific accelerators, helping organizations shorten the path from AI strategy to production without rebuilding foundational capabilities for every use case.

Visionet’s capabilities extend into a growing portfolio of agentic solutions, including the Agentic Commerce Blueprint, a connected operating model for AI-mediated retail, alongside purpose-built agents across customer service, operations, and enterprise workflows. Rather than treating each agent as a standalone tool, Visionet designs these solutions to work together, sharing context and data so that decisions made in one part of the business inform action in another.

The results speak for themselves: for a global reinsurer, Visionet’s AI-driven risk triage cut manual underwriting effort by 40%. For a multinational retailer, Visionet enabled real-time inventory visibility across every channel, creating a scalable foundation for AI-driven inventory optimization. These are production outcomes, not proof-of-concept claims.

Responsible AI Is Part of the Architecture

Scaling AI introduces new questions around security, compliance, risk, and accountability. Visionet treats responsible AI as a design principle rather than a final checkpoint, incorporating governance, security, and risk management from the beginning of every engagement.

This becomes increasingly important as AI systems move from generating recommendations to taking action. Agentic systems can execute workflows and support decisions at enterprise scale, making governance and continuous oversight essential to maintaining trust.

The Next Chapter: AI as a Core Business Capability

The organizations that create lasting competitive advantage in the agentic era will not be those with the most AI tools. They will be those that combine AI capabilities with strong engineering, connected data, responsible governance, and the operational discipline to execute at scale.

That distinction will only sharpen as agentic AI matures. The winners will not be defined by how quickly they adopted AI, but by how deeply they rebuilt their operations around it.

Visionet is building toward that future, helping enterprises move from AI ambition to production-grade AI-powered business transformation, and making AI a core driver of productivity, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.

Dynamic Pricing Raises New Questions for Forwarders Evaluating Automated Freight Quoting

Published

on

By

As freight forwarders adopt AI freight quoting software, Aircon founder Chris Condon says buyers should measure more than response speed. He urges teams evaluating freight quote automation software to count total operator time, including review and correction, and to check how quotes hold up when shipment details change.

LEWISVILLE, Texas, Nov. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — As more freight forwarders adopt AI freight quoting software to keep pace with shifting rates, a practical question is emerging: how much of the time saved is later spent checking and fixing what the software produces? Chris Condon, founder and CEO of Aircon, says buyers evaluating freight quote automation software should look at dynamic pricing alongside the work required to turn a supplier’s rate into a customer commitment. His comments follow G2’s 2026 AI Agents Report, updated October 14, which examines the operating costs of reviewing and correcting automated work.

“A higher rate can still be the right choice if it supports the required service,” Condon said. “What matters is knowing what the price includes, which conditions apply and what still has to be confirmed before the customer relies on the answer.”

“Think about a hotel when a major concert comes to town,” Condon said. “Demand goes up, there are only so many rooms, and prices can rise. Freight responds to supply and demand too. The forwarder’s job is to work out whether the available price and service meet the customer’s need.”

Freight pricing reflects more than demand. Costs, contract terms, and shipment requirements all shape the final number. A changing rate tells the forwarder something about one particular option… building a customer offer still requires checking service conditions, outstanding confirmations, and the forwarder’s own commercial rules.

That verification step is where automated freight quoting is put to the test. Condon refers to it as decision assurance: organizing the inputs and evidence behind a proposed commitment, flagging open questions, and keeping a record of the decision, while the forwarder retains judgment and the customer relationship.

“A higher rate can still be the right choice if it supports the required service,” Condon said. “What matters is knowing what the price includes, which conditions apply and what still has to be confirmed before the customer relies on the answer.”

G2’s report draws on a July survey of 1,019 business technology decisionmakers across industries. Forty-five percent of respondents said oversight and rework consume more than a quarter of their expected productivity gains. The findings are self-reported and cover enterprise AI adoption broadly; the report is not specific to freight.

For teams comparing freight quoting software for forwarders, Condon suggests looking beyond response speed. He recommends measuring total operator time, including review and correction, and asking how any freight quote management software handles changes to shipment details…and whether a second operator can understand the conditions behind an earlier quote.

“The practical standard is to give the team time back and keep the judgment behind the customer commitment clear,” Condon said.

About Aircon:

Aircon provides decision-assurance software for freight forwarders, supporting the review that takes place before a quote becomes a customer commitment. It preserves inputs, evidence, and decision state within the forwarder’s existing workflow, while the forwarder retains the customer relationship and commercial judgment.
