Butler National Corporation Announces Garmin G700TXi STC for Learjet 35/36 Series

Published

on

NEW CENTURY, Kan., Aug. 28, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Butler National Corporation (OTCQX: BUKS), a leading manufacturer and provider of support systems for commercial and military aircraft and a recognized provider of management services in the gaming industry, announces the receipt of Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”) Supplemental Type Certificate (“STC”) approval of the installation of the Garmin G700TXi Flight Display System “Glass Cockpit” into the Learjet Model 35/35A(C-21A)/36/36A airplanes with FC-530 or 535 autopilots.

The FAA STC approval, STC Number ST02036WI allows the installation of the Garmin G700TXi System in the Learjet Model 35/35A(C-21A)/36/36A airplanes with the FC-530/FC-535 autopilot. The replacement of the traditional “six pack” of flight instruments (airspeed indicator, altimeter, ADI (including VG), HSI (including DG), vertical speed indicator/RA and RMI) with the Garmin G700TXi flight display and associated attitude, heading and air data sensors significantly enhances situational awareness and operations in the Learjet Model 35/35A(C-21A)/36/36A airplanes.

Christopher Reedy, President and CEO of Butler National Corporation said, “The Butler National Team has placed a lot of time and effort into this Learjet glass panel upgrade, and the result is extremely nice. The displays offer tremendously enhanced pilot situational awareness. The autopilot interface for RNAV operations is seamless, intuitive and decreases the traditional avionics workload and improves the pilot interface.  Most of all, as a pilot, I greatly appreciate the well-organized and clear presentation of information on the Garmin G700TXi displays. While the effort has been significant, the result is extremely satisfying with the clean and user-friendly instrument panel.”

Carl Wolf, Vice President Aviation Sales & Marketing commented: “Our TXi flight display system has been incredibly popular, and we’re excited to have G700TXi in the Learjet Model 35/36 series airplanes. Part 25 certifications are no simple task, and the efforts to achieve Supplemental Type Certification and provide this upgrade to our mutual customers are appreciated by the entire Garmin Team.”

Reedy added: “Butler National, through its subsidiary Butler Avionics, Inc., plans to make the STC package available to Garmin Dealers worldwide for field installation.  We greatly appreciate the assistance of Garmin in achieving issuance of the STC.  The STC applies to Learjet Model 35/36 series with the FC-530 autopilots. Butler is now moving with the application of the G700TXi for Learjet Model 35/36 with the FC-200 autopilots.”

Systech Launches New All-in-One Pharma Packaging and Serialization Stations

Published

on

By

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Systech, part of Markem-Imaje and Dover and a leading provider of pharmaceutical serialization and traceability solutions, today announced the launch of two new integrated packaging solutions designed to help pharmaceutical manufacturers and contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) increase automation, improve operational efficiency and enhance production flexibility.

The new ST15S Semi-Automated Serialization and Aggregation Station and ST16P Multi-Aggregation and Automated Label Print & Apply Station operate seamlessly with industry-leading UniSeries® software, integrating critical packaging, serialization, aggregation and labeling functions into compact, easy-to-deploy systems. By consolidating multiple processes within a single station, these systems help manufacturers reduce complexity, optimize labor resources and improve packaging productivity without requiring significant line modifications or facility expansion.

“Packaging operations today are under constant pressure to increase output, maintain compliance and do more with constrained labor and facility resources,” said Steve Engdahl, Vice President of Product at Systech. “The ST15S and ST16P were developed to help manufacturers automate critical packaging processes without introducing additional complexity. By bringing serialization, aggregation, rework and labeling capabilities together within integrated systems, customers can streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency.”

The ST15S Semi-Automated Serialization and Aggregation Station combines semi-automated serialization, manual case aggregation, pallet aggregation and rework capabilities within a single workstation. Functions that traditionally require multiple stations for printing, inspection, aggregation and rework can now be performed through a unified system managed from one interface. By reducing operator handoffs and consolidating workflows, the ST15S helps minimize product handling and simplify day-to-day packaging activities.

The ST16P Multi-Aggregation and Automated Label Print & Apply Station combines semi-automated Pack-by-Layer aggregation with automated label printing and application in a single ergonomic platform. By integrating multiple aggregation processes and automating label management, the system helps teams reduce manual intervention, improve consistency, and perform aggregation activities more efficiently while supporting compliance requirements.

“Our product strategy begins with understanding the day-to-day challenges packaging teams face on the production floor,” continued Engdahl. “Those insights guide us toward opportunities where automation can reduce complexity and strengthen overall packaging performance. The ST15S and ST16P reflect that customer-driven approach by delivering practical automation solutions that help manufacturers enhance productivity while remaining adaptable to changing production requirements.”

Available now, these new systems expand Systech’s integrated packaging, serialization and traceability portfolio. Built on proven Systech platforms, the ST15S and ST16P can be deployed as part of an existing Systech-managed line or alongside third-party equipment already in place, avoiding the cost and disruption of a complete line redesign. By bringing greater automation to established packaging environments, the systems help manufacturers optimize workflows, protect existing technology investments and add advanced packaging capabilities.
