GitKraken Introduces GitLens 19, Bringing Human and AI Workflows Together in One Workbench

Published

on

The reimagined Commit Graph gives developers one place to understand, coordinate, review, and ship work across coding agents and modern development workflows.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Aug. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Artificial intelligence has fundamentally changed software development. GitKraken’s 2026 State of AI in Engineering report, based on a survey of 554 developers and engineering leaders, found that 96.4% of engineering organizations now use AI coding tools. Coding agents are becoming teammates.

Developers can now generate more code in a day than they once wrote in a week. Coding agents are becoming teammates. Parallel development is becoming the norm.

But while code generation has accelerated, shipping software has not.

The bottleneck has moved.

GitKraken’s research found that 84% of developers already report higher productivity with AI coding tools. The next challenge isn’t writing more code. It’s understanding, reviewing, and merging it with confidence. The next challenge is helping teams move code from plan to merge faster. GitKraken calls this the Code Flow era, and believes that is where the next inflection point of developer productivity will be.

As coding agents become part of everyday development, software teams are managing more branches, more pull requests, more worktrees, and more parallel streams of work than ever before. Every change still flows through Git before it reaches production, making Git the shared coordination point between developers, coding agents, and software delivery.

That shift is accelerating quickly. GitKraken’s research found the percentage of developers whose primary way of working is autonomous AI has nearly quadrupled in the past nine months, growing from 7.6% to 28%.

GitKraken believes the next wave of developer productivity will not come from generating more code. It will come from helping developers understand, validate, and merge that code faster.

Today, GitKraken released GitLens 19, the biggest evolution of GitLens to date.

GitLens has long helped developers understand repository history and collaborate more effectively without leaving their Individual Development Environment (IDE) or Agentic Development Environment (ADE). With GitLens 19, GitKraken takes the next step by transforming the Commit Graph from a history visualization into the central workspace for modern development workflows.

At the center of the update is a completely reimagined Commit Graph. Once a place to visualize repository history, it has evolved into a developer workbench where developers can review changes, compare revisions, compose meaningful commits, automate rebases, resolve conflicts, and manage parallel development from a single Git-aware workspace.

“AI has fundamentally changed how software gets written, but it hasn’t changed what it takes to ship great software,” said Eric Amodio, Founder and CTO of GitKraken. “Developers still need to understand what changed, review it, organize it, and merge it with confidence. GitLens 19 reflects that new reality. The Commit Graph is no longer just where you inspect history. It’s where modern development work happens.”

Modern software development no longer happens in a straight line.

Developers constantly move between AI-generated changes, multiple worktrees, long-running feature branches, pull requests, and parallel streams of work. Traditional workflows were designed for a world where developers wrote every line of code themselves.

Today’s development environment demands something different.

GitLens 19 is built for that reality.

Instead of jumping between terminals, Git views, pull requests, code reviews, and multiple tools, developers can now complete the majority of their workflows from a single workspace designed to help them stay in control as development becomes increasingly parallel and AI-assisted.

GitLens 19 introduces:

A reimagined Commit Graph that evolves from a history viewer into the central workspace for modern Git workflows.Review to inspect changes earlier, compare revisions, understand AI-generated work, and provide feedback before code reaches a pull request.Compose to organize related changes into clean, intentional commits by grouping, moving, and refining work before it is shared.Compare to instantly inspect commits, branches, revisions, and working changes, making it easier to understand exactly what changed before merging.AI-powered Rebase that intelligently automates rebases, reducing the need to manually step through traditional interactive rebase operations while keeping developers in control of the final result.AI-powered Merge Conflict Resolution that helps developers resolve conflicts faster with intelligent suggestions while preserving full Git context.Manage stacked pull requests by breaking larger changes into smaller, dependent PRs that are easier to review, understand, and ship.Stacked Pull Requests to break larger changes into smaller, dependent pull requests that are easier to review and ship, while keeping relationships between branches and PRs clear.Repository-wide context that brings active branches, worktrees, incoming changes, and AI-assisted development together in a single view, making parallel development easier to understand and manage.

GitLens 19 represents more than a major product release. It reflects the GitKraken’s vision for where software development is heading within the IDE.

GitLens 19 is available today for your favorite IDEs like VS Code, Cursor, and Antigravity.

360factors Launches Fair Lending Compliance Testing Agent in Ask Kaia

New AI digital assistant streamlines fair lending compliance testing and peer benchmarking, helping financial institutions produce exam-ready workpapers with less manual data analysis.

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — 360factors Inc., a leading provider of AI-powered risk and compliance solutions for financial organizations, announced the launch of the Fair Lending Compliance Testing agent within Ask Kaia, its AI platform for U.S. banks and credit unions.

Fair lending compliance issues can be difficult to detect in individual loan files. Patterns emerge when institutions analyze thousands of records and compare outcomes across borrower segments, geographies, pricing, and peer benchmarks. Compliance teams often perform this work manually, extracting loan data into spreadsheets and compiling supporting evidence, sometimes under significant time pressure before an examination.

The Fair Lending Compliance Testing agent streamlines that process through a guided workflow. Users upload a LAR data file and supporting documentation, then select the peer institutions for comparison. The agent generates a dashboard highlighting segment, geographic, and pricing patterns, document-evidence coverage, and workpapers formatted for regulatory review.

“We built this agent so fair lending reviews no longer have to begin with a blank spreadsheet. It brings peer benchmarking, document coverage, and exam-ready workpapers into one on-demand workflow. This work that traditionally requires extensive manual analysis or outside consulting support,” said Chris Duden, 360factors CTO.

The Fair Lending Compliance Testing agent is the third addition to Ask Kaia’s Agents Framework in recent months, following the Marketing Ad Review and HMDA Compliance Testing agents. It is available as an optional add-on for Ask Kaia Enterprise customers.

AI-Native Remote Patient Monitoring Service Combines Connected Devices, Intelligent Automation, and Clinical Services to Help Health Systems Scale Virtual Care

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Andor Health, the AI company reimagining virtual care through AI-native clinical services for healthcare, announces that ThinkAndor® Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) is now available in Epic Toolbox. ThinkAndor® received Epic Toolbox designation for the Remote Patient Monitoring category and helps health systems expand virtual care, population health, and patient access initiatives through a comprehensive AI-native remote patient monitoring service. Psynergy Health, an Andor Health Ventures company and a certified CMS ACCESS clinic, relies on ThinkAndor® as the enabling foundation for its ACCESS clinic under the CMS Innovation Center’s ACCESS Model, Medicare’s nationwide approach to technology-supported chronic care. For an organization already on Epic, ThinkAndor® is a practical path to partner with an ACCESS participant inside the record clinicians already use.

As healthcare organizations work to manage growing patient populations outside traditional care settings, many face challenges related to patient engagement, staffing capacity, and care coordination. ThinkAndor® addresses these challenges by combining connected monitoring devices, intelligent patient triage, clinical workflow automation, and integrated clinical services into a single end-to-end solution designed to support scalable patient monitoring programs.

ThinkAndor® integrates with Epic by delivering patient-generated health data, device readings, alerts, and longitudinal trends directly into the patient record. Epic remains the system of record, enabling clinicians to review monitoring information and manage patient care within established workflows.

“Health systems need sustainable ways to extend care beyond the walls of the hospital while supporting growing patient populations,” said Shivali Singh, SVP of Product at Andor Health. “ThinkAndor® combines AI, connected devices, integrated clinical services, and workflows integrated with Epic to help organizations expand access, improve care coordination, and scale remote patient monitoring programs.”

ThinkAndor® simplifies participation for patients at home by enabling access to cellular-enabled monitoring devices, removing technology barriers that can limit adoption. This approach helps health systems extend monitoring programs to rural and underserved populations while supporting broader efforts to improve access to care. This rural reach aligns with the ACCESS Model’s added support for patients in rural communities.

ThinkAndor® RPM continuously analyzes incoming patient data to identify potential clinical concerns and prioritize patients who may benefit from intervention. Intelligent automation helps care teams focus on patients who require attention while reducing the operational burden associated with monitoring large patient populations.

In addition to technology and automation capabilities, ThinkAndor® RPM includes access to Psynergy Health’s clinical services that can be tailored to the needs of individual health systems. Nurses, care navigators, dietitians, and other care team resources support patient engagement, care coordination, and ongoing monitoring activities. This model helps organizations grow remote patient monitoring programs without requiring proportional increases in internal staffing resources.

Psynergy Health, a subsidiary of Andor Health Ventures and a first-cohort participant in the ACCESS Model, operates this model today as an accredited access clinic, and the same clinical-services capacity supports health systems adopting ThinkAndor® RPM.
