illumine Ushers in a New Era of Childcare AI with its Latest Launch at illumine NEXT

Published

on

WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — illumine, an AI-powered childcare management platform purpose-built for multi-site operations, already serving more than 4,000 childcare centers across the United States and 60+ countries, has now announced the next chapter of its AI platform at illumine NEXT. The flagship innovation event, witnessed registrations from over 400 future-first early years leaders and introduced three new pathbreaking AI agents designed specifically for the early years.

The conversation brought together insights from global experts, including Tim Seldin, author, educator and President of The Montessori Foundation, with more than 40 years of experience in Montessori education, and Lara Hudson, Early Years Leader and Education Strategist with more than 25 years of international experience, including two decades in the UAE education sector. They were joined by the illumine co-founders – Navneet Rastogi, Sourabh Agarwal and Purva Goyal. The event witnessed enthusiastic conversations around the future of childcare management and the role technology and AI can play in helping operators build stronger, more scalable organizations.

“Childcare leaders are building increasingly ambitious organizations, and the technology supporting them should evolve with that ambition,” said Navneet Rastogi, Co-founder and CEO of illumine. “We see a future where AI does more than just generate content. It can help in taking meaningful action across the workflows that matter most, while keeping people firmly in control and being mindful of the sensitivity of data in the early years. At illumine NEXT, we have given a glimpse into that future, and into what becomes possible when technology is built to help childcare organizations raise the standard as they grow.”

AI Designed for Real-World Childcare Operations

illumine’s latest capabilities are built around a simple belief: AI should not only provide information. It should help get meaningful work done. The three AI agents unveiled at illumine NEXT extend intelligence into the workflows that matter most to childcare organizations.

By taking on repetitive, time-sensitive interactions, the illumine AI enrollment agent helps teams keep enrollment moving while people remain focused on the conversations and decisions that require a human touch. It gives admissions teams support around the clock, helping answer calls in non-work hours and to even book tours and schedule follow-ups. For growing brands in childcare this means fewer inquiries waiting for a response, faster conversions and less routine work competing for the attention of enrollment teams.

The second showcased agent, the illumine AI Billing Agent, brings a simpler way to work with financial and operational information across centers – one just needs to ask!

Operators can ask for financial reports, identify billing trends, retrieve specific information or prepare data for compliance reports by just a quick chat with the billing agent. Instead of searching through reports and files, early years leaders can now access the information they need to make an informed decision.

Multi-center operators can now use the illumine AI billing agent to generate business reports for board meetings with just a chat based interface, thereby saving time on manual reporting. The goal is not simply faster reporting; it is better visibility for better decisions.

The third AI capability, which brought exceptional interest from educators, brings convenience into everyday activity planning, addressing one of the most persistent administrative demands on educators. Today, educators spend hours uploading photos and documenting classroom activities. With the illumine AI Activity Agent, that process becomes simpler. The AI scans the uploaded classroom photos and drafts personalized observations, making documentation faster and easier to review. Educators can also add their own voice input, co-creating and refining observations with AI to turn their notes and ideas into well-drafted documentation in minutes. The result is less time spent on documentation and more time for educators to focus on creating meaningful learning experiences.

For families, richer and more timely documentation can also strengthen the connection between what happens in the classroom and what they see at home.

Across each AI agent, the principle remains the same: technology should take on more of the administrative weight without taking away the judgment, relationships and care at the heart of early years.

Built With AI Controls and Safeguards at the Core

As AI takes on a more active role in childcare operations, trust, privacy and control are foundational. illumine has designed its AI capabilities with safeguards built into the platform from the ground up, giving childcare organizations the ability to adopt AI while maintaining control over how sensitive data is accessed, processed and used.

illumine’s AI architecture is designed around Privacy by Design and Responsible AI principles, with customer data protected within secure, controlled environments. Customer data is not used to train public or shared AI models, and AI workflows are designed to use only the contextual information required for a given task, helping minimize unnecessary exposure of sensitive child, family and center information.

For multi-site operators, illumine provides granular role-based access controls, tenant-level data segregation and comprehensive audit logging, helping ensure that users only access information appropriate to their role, classroom or center. AI-enabled workflows are also designed with appropriate human oversight, particularly where outputs may affect sensitive childcare records, family communications or other high-impact workflows.

illumine’s security foundation includes SOC 2 Type II certification, encryption for data in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, role-based permissions and auditability across platform activity. Together, these controls are designed to give childcare leaders the confidence to adopt increasingly capable AI without compromising the privacy, security or operational integrity their organizations require.

“As AI becomes more deeply integrated into childcare operations, the question isn’t simply what AI can do. It is whether organizations can use it with the right level of trust, control and accountability,” said Sourabh Agarwal, Co-founder and CTO of illumine. “We believe advanced AI and strong safeguards must be built together. Our approach gives childcare organizations the ability to benefit from AI while maintaining clear controls around their data, access and oversight.”

The capabilities unveiled at illumine NEXT are part of illumine’s broader vision to continue building an AI-native platform for the future of early years management. The event made one thing clear: a new era of AI-powered childcare management is here, and illumine is building what comes next.

Industry first standalone PCIe® 7.0 Protocol Exerciser, extends the Summit M616 Protocol Analyzer to deliver a complete validation and debug solution

MILPITAS, Calif., Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Teledyne LeCroy, the worldwide leader in protocol test solutions, today announced the release of the Summit™ Z74 Protocol Exerciser for PCI Express® (PCIe®) 7.0 technology, designed to accelerate the development, validation, and debug of next-generation PCIe devices and systems. Summit Z74 operates as a standalone protocol exerciser for controlled traffic generation, or pairs with the Summit M616 Protocol Analyzer to create a complete PCIe 7.0 analysis and exerciser solution. Together, the platforms give engineering teams the control and visibility needed to expose interoperability issues earlier, shorten debug cycles, and reduce development risk.

Artificial intelligence, machine learning, high-performance computing (HPC), cloud infrastructure, and advanced storage applications are driving the demand for faster, lower-latency interconnects. To meet that demand, PCIe 7.0 specification doubles the raw data rate of PCIe 6.0 specification from 64.0 GT/s to 128.0 GT/s and delivers up to 512 GB/s of bi-directional bandwidth in a x16 configuration. At these speeds, Pulse Amplitude Modulation 4-level (PAM4) signaling, FLIT-based protocol, and increasingly complex system architectures require validation tools that can generate precise protocol traffic, emulate real-world workloads, reproduce problem conditions, and provide deterministic control over PCIe link behavior throughout the development lifecycle.

The Summit Z74 addresses these challenges with a flexible architecture for PCIe 7.0 technology development. Used independently, it enables engineers to generate controlled protocol traffic, exercise device behavior, and validate responses under targeted conditions. Paired with the Summit M616 Protocol Analyzer, the Summit Z74 becomes part of a comprehensive debug and validation system that combines traffic generation with deep protocol capture, decode, analysis, and debug. This solution enables engineering teams to efficiently isolate, resolve and verify link training behavior, transaction-level issues, protocol errors, LTSSM transitions, interoperability challenges, and compliance-development concerns within an industry-leading and customer familiar Summit workflow.

“The rapid evolution of PCI Express technology to the PCIe 7.0 specification is enabling new levels of performance for AI, storage, and high-performance computing applications,” said Al Yanes, PCI-SIG President and Chairperson. “Protocol test equipment accelerates validation and ecosystem readiness to help engineers address growing system complexity.”

“The Summit Z74 extends our long-standing commitment to the PCIe design and test community,” said Michael Romm, General Manager, Teledyne LeCroy Protocol Solutions Group. “Engineering teams can deploy the industry’s first standalone PCIe 7.0 protocol exerciser or pair it with the Summit M616 to create a complete, familiar environment for traffic generation, protocol visibility, validation, and debug. This flexibility helps customers protect their test investment while confidently advancing next-generation PCIe designs.”

Zillow Preview℠ listings are now live on Realtor.com®, offering the same early access on the two most-visited real estate platforms in the country

Published

By

SEATTLE and AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Zillow® and Realtor.com® today announced that Preview℠ is live on both sites, bringing pre-market homes to buyers across the two most-visited real estate platforms in the country. No special login or brokerage relationship required. The same early access for every buyer, on both platforms starting today.

This marks the realization of a collaboration announced in May, and the largest pre-market syndication effort in U.S. residential real estate. Whether searching on Zillow or Realtor.com®, buyers will now see pre-market listings at the same time — clearly labeled as Preview listings, with no insider track required.

“Today we set a new standard for pre-market transparency on Zillow and Realtor.com®,” said Christopher Roberts, Zillow’s chief product officer. “While others in this industry are moving in the other direction and restricting early listings to private networks, we’re proving that broad, public visibility is better for sellers, better for buyers and better for agents.”

“It takes a shared commitment to bring two platforms to the table, but on this, we agree: an open marketplace serves buyers and sellers better than a closed one,” said Anna Marie Castiglioni, Head of Realtor.com® Next. “Bringing Preview Listings to both platforms means every buyer, on either site, gets access to the same homes at the same time — and every seller gets the benefit of that broad reach.”

The collaboration launches as Zillow Preview has already achieved significant scale. More than 400 brokerage partners — including Keller Williams, RE/MAX, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World®, HomeServices of America, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, United Real Estate, Engel & Völkers and Side — are enrolled in Zillow Preview, with listing creation continuing to grow.

A more complete search on both platforms
Preview listings are clearly labeled and receive enhanced visibility in search results and email alerts on both Zillow and Realtor.com®.

Once a buyer finds a Zillow Preview or Realtor.com® Preview home, they can:

Save it to stay updated as more details become availableContact the listing agent to get questions answered quicklyPre-book a tour to be one of the first in the door when the home is ready for showingsUse the extra time to connect with a buyer’s agent and get pre-approved for a mortgage — so they’re ready to act the moment the home goes live

Nearly 9 in 10 Americans (88%) say they would be at least somewhat interested in viewing pre-listed homes online if they were buying, according to a Zillow survey conducted by the Harris Poll.

A bigger stage for sellers and their agents
For sellers, the collaboration delivers pre-market exposure at a scale that wasn’t previously possible. Zillow and Realtor.com® together reach three-quarters of major portal visitors, according to Comscore data. Preview listings receive 18% more views, 9% more shares and 7% more saves than comparable listings during the first 14 days on market.

While sellers prepare their homes for sale, agents can build demand across both platforms simultaneously, turning the time before listing day into a marketing runway. Real buyer behavior during the Preview window — views, saves, tour requests — gives sellers and their agents pricing intelligence before a home officially launches on the MLS. Eighty-five percent of soon-to-be sellers say they’d be more likely to hire an agent who can pre-market their home to the broadest online audience.

As part of this collaboration, agents will receive the same benefits for both their Zillow Preview and Realtor.com® Preview listings, available at no cost to sellers or agents participating through an enrolled brokerage.

Participating agents receive three key benefits:

Greater visibility: Preview listings receive elevated placement in search results and saved-home alerts during the Preview period on both Zillow and Realtor.com®, helping more buyers discover the home earlier in the listing process.Free connections based on buyer choice: Consumers have the choice to connect with the listing agent or with a local buyer’s agent, depending on their needs. When a buyer reaches out to the listing agent directly through Zillow or Realtor.com®, those connections are free for the listing agent.Revenue participation: If a qualified Preview connection from either a Zillow Preview or Realtor.com® Preview home results in a closed transaction through a qualified partner agent, the listing agent may receive a share of the revenue earned from that transaction, settled through their brokerage. This fee does not increase consumers’ or agents’ costs. As always, commissions remain negotiable between consumers and the agents representing them.
